I have been very impressed with this HP desktop. I purchased this over getting another dough I have found the speed is unbelievable and it is so easy to manage I have many other HP products and they all connect with no issues has plenty USB ports which make this really special I recommend buying it The geek squad transferred overall of my data that was transferable to the new computer I brought it home and it was like I never been down We added another drive for my storage which will make my HP long lived with my data.

Now a retired college administrator, I just have basic needs of Internet, email (Chrome), Word, Excel, newsletters and maybe an occasional PowerPoint. I replaced a 13-year-old Lenovo as it was slowing down, hard-drive was dying, my Office software was no longer supported, etc. Was waiting for this HP to go on sale again. New computer is wonderful! And fast! Windows 11 - will just take time to adapt to. Bought Microsoft 365 - was a good deal to try out for a year - so far, both Word and Excel improvements and sharper "look" are nice. Boot-up speed is very fast. I read some complaints about new keyboard and mouse...I think they're great - and solid, especially keyboard. I've used Trend Micro Maximum Security for 15 years in its different versions. It's the only protection that has never failed me. Overall, after a month of use (and a lot of research), this may be the best computer I've ever bought and I've had Dell (home and work), Gateway, Lenovo, including an all-in-one Ideacenter (knocked it over and broke screen). I added an inexpensive optical reader to load music CDs and add them to portable devices. I'm very happy with my purchase. Geek Squad transferred old files to new computer. Everything works great!

Super fast start, plenty of memory. Very quiet. Only downside is the graphics card if you care about that

I love my new desktop. It’s very fast & responsive. I have struggled for years with an old slow lap top. It boots up in seconds & Zoom calls are a pleasure. I paired it with a new 27 “ monitor too. I’m looking forward to many years of use.

After 10 years our old computer quit working, Went online shopping around and came across this one, checked it out and it is perfect for what we use it for. It work's great! If someone is looking for a good computer, get this one. We love it

Back to using desktop and, man! its a world of diference. Dont like personally windows 11 but the right procesor does help navigate with ease and specially when you are learning and going back and foward on all the configurations it come with. Quiet and responsive <3

I’m taken aback that the performance is much better than I expected. I paired it with a 24” monitor and have enjoyed the blazing speed of each application. Will soon purchase the same computer for our personal use.

This is a great computer. Really fast. did have problems with the volume on the computer. But the Best Buy geek squad help solve the problem.

Since I bought this HP Envy Desktop, I have no problem with in. It is easy to install, fast and so far reliable.

Thought my old one was great but this model is light years ahead. I would highly recommend this unit.

We have this hooked up to our TV via HDMI and it is definitely my favorite way to use a PC now

It says 2 slots for M.2 SSD. Bought a spare one when bought this desktop. But when i am about to install it, i cant find the other slot the other M.2 SSD

I bought this computer a to replace a 5 year old Lenovo A12 processor budget computer. I am a home computer user who doesn't do intensive gaming and wanted a little higher end component stock computer. I waited until it was on sale at $799 again and got the last one at the store in Savannah, GA. Right out of the box I noticed a dramatic difference in performance from the i7 processor with SSD hard drive. The 16gigs of ram was the most in a computer I've ever bought. The setup was seemless and I was able to import many files from my Onedrive and Google drive without any hiccups. I was also able to install some older programs like Quicken 2009 that I had stored on a Passport external drive. I use PC Matic to protect my system so will let the McAfee expire when it's done. I am very pleased with the operation of the computer for my needs but did make one change. I ordered a crucial 32gig memory kit to upgrade which was very simple to complete. The system recognized it immediately and no issues. The change in speed from my Lenova to this HP Envy is incredible. I can't comment about how it will perform for gaming but the graphis processor is onboard and probably passable at best for hard core gamers. Also for the record, I am not using the included keyboard and mouse. I don't like the chiclet keys on the included keyboard so opted to say with the Logitech set I bought years ago. I do like the design of the HP mouse but will stick with my Logitech there as well. Overall I believe this is a good value for the money.

Nice prebuilt for just about everything except gaming. If you are looking for a gaming rig, keep looking - there is no discrete graphic card and the 310 watt (proprietary) power supply limits what you can install. That said, it's more than enough for any office and general computing needs. I added an additional 16gb of memory for 32 bucks from curcial and it's working well for my needs. I was using an old dell optiplex with a 4th gen i5 and 24gb ram. It was starting to get a little slow with CAD programs so this fits the bill nicely. I would wait for a sale on it, eight hundred is a decent price but I personally wouldn't drop a grand on it.

I purchased this HP desktop computer about three weeks ago after using another HP desktop computer for 11 years. While I was overall pleased with my previous unit, I could not believe the differences. This computer starts up in less than 30 seconds and shuts down almost instantaneously. It took 3-5 minutes for the previous unit. Windows updates often took 1-3 hours to complete and now are done in less than 5 minutes. While I was sorry that an optical drive was not included for CD/DVD play, I just purchased an inexpensive DVD writer. I am happy with the 16GB RAM Memory, Intel Core i7 processor and the 1TB SSD storage. I am slowly getting used to utilizing Windows 11 and it so far has been okay. Since I am probably considered just a basic computer user, this device should be great for me for the next 5-10 years. I fortunately purchased it on sale for $750 and it now is listed at $999. Best Buy was wonderful to work along with. A gentleman from the Geek Squad came to my home and set up everything including the computer, monitor and printer. He also transferred all the data from my previous HP unit. Good value, good service and so far I am a happy Best Buy customer.
