After over a month of using this laptop, I can really say I absolutely LOVE it! For the price and what you get, you really can't beat it. It's incredibly fast and the 165 hz screen makes everything feel SO smooth, and the light up keyboard makes typing so easy in the dark. I don't really understand what a previous review was saying about it being bad for gaming, but I've had 0 problems. I've run smaller games like Skyrim and Far Cry to more demanding games like GTA, Apex, and Rainbow Six with no problems. This laptop will eat anything you throw at it. Now my biggest con with this laptop is it will get HOT very fast, but I mean it's a strong laptop so I get that 100%. My only thing is the intake is at the bottom so you kinda have to keep it propped up or on a completely flat surface but that's pretty normal for laptops. The laptop itself will try to reduce heat by switching to the onboard graphics when you're not gaming which does help a ton. As for battery... it's a laptop for gaming lol, you'll be lucky to get 3 hours out of it while gaming. I haven't tested how long doing regular stuff.

I brought HP Omen with a little hesitation reading on the issues with motherboard, but after using it for almost a month i dont see that coming . Its a really good laptop and the deal I got was amazing. I9 for 999 was an amazing deal and got 15% extra discount for best buy card. I am planning to take best buy garunty for extra support. Only thing i wasnt happy was the UPS delivery. The box was full of black lines of the package being dragged and delivery was delayed. The delivery guy just left it infront of my door and went away. I am happy with the laptop and its gaming experienc. Also with bestbuy. Will update the review in few months based on my further experience. Best buy membership garuntees 2 months of free returns that gave me more confidence on buying this product.

Laptop is great. Can run games good and graphics are great for price. Only cons is that the fan is loud and the battery drains fast.

Laptop is absolutely amazing, I can play 98% of games on max graphics, even cyberpunk! I would definitely recommend this laptop. Its performance blew my mind! I really thought I would be able to play triple A titles but to a lesser degree or extent but no I can literally play anything! The only thing I wish this model had would be a 64gb option bc it’s only limited to 32. But to be honest its seems like it’s enough. The display is good and but it’s not like oled or anything like that. It still looks really good in maxed out games!

First ever laptop and got it at a discount and it was a great decision. I mostly use it for animation and its fantastic to work with, though it does have some trouble with heavier projects (save often). The battery life is fine, it gives me about 3 - 4 hours before i have to plug in, though i dont use the battery saver and i use it for animation which can get pretty heavy so that could be a factor. Either way it was definitely worth it especially for that discount

This computer is awesome, it plays everything from sims to call to duty.. Warzone on a laptop at 165fps is quite amazing lol…

Upgraded from an older MSI with three SSD slots and was informed that this Omen only had one. Was pleasantly surprised when upgrading my RAM to see that there IS a second NVMe slot available. Added a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro and all is well again.

I work a 100% travel job and I have to leave my gaming setup at home. This is the perfect in between gaming laptop I was looking for. I use it religiously and it keeps up with me every step of the way. It plays all the triple A titles and if you need a little FPS turn down to medium settings. This thing runs great for a laptop and for the price range, you can’t beat it! I would recommend this laptop to anyone! There is some cons though, if you decide to choose this laptop, the hardware is demanding on battery life. You will need to keep it plugged in to play games longer than a few hours. Other than that it’s great!

This is a very nice laptop. Graphics are great. We purchased two. Unfortunately, one is in for repair. Not sure yet, but thinking defective board or RAM. It happens. So far, the other one is working like a champ. I didn't get to test out the length of battery life...

the laptop has the best possible configurations! I monitored laptops for 4 months. I was expecting an i7 at this price. So an i9 is beyond expectations. Furthermore, it also has two Thunderbolt inputs, which are not very common in entry-level gaming laptops... the negative points: battery that only lasts 2 hours of normal use and only having one SSD slot

I usually go not go the mobile gaming route, I personally prefer a full fledge gaming rig over a gaming laptop or a handheld. It is great while traveling in terms of power and useability. My only gripe would be the battery life is horrendous. It is practically a mobile desktop but best performance is connected to the wall. I did have some thermal issues but I was able to undervolt it a bit to minimize max tdp.
