I have other HPs, 17". This 14" is medium size (not too small, not too big) and portable like if I were carrying a larger iPad. It's not heavy or bulky. The anodized warm gold finish gives it an aesthetic sleek/chic look. I like that the keyboard can light up when I'm using it in a dim lit room. This computer serves its purpose for work related matters. I bought this at the early Black Friday deals when it was practically $300 off from the regular price. It was worth getting for all its features. I'm happy with this purchase!

I'm a Mac guy since 2009 and this is my first Windows Laptop in 10 years. I needed one ungently to use with some softwares (Extron Global Configurator Pro and Nexia Audio Processor) for a new Audio and Video control over IP that work only on Windows. Two weeks ago this laptop was on sale for $499 so after looking at the specifications it was no brainer and got it from my local Best Buy. It took me a bit to get used again to Windows but in just a couple of hours I was working with my Extron software and completed the whole project in just three days. Now it's in my backpack with my MacBook Pro. I use the MacBook Pro for every day tasks and the HP to monitor my Audio and Video system at work.

I bought the laptop for my wife and she has not stopped thanking me since. The laptop works seamlessly and easy to setup too. She loves it and uses it almost everyday, I tried to have a feel of it too and I was blown away by its performance. Great product for its price.

It’s great and fast. I just don’t like the power switch to be on the left side.

I Think this is an excellent laptop for students and people who do office works and navigates the internet. It have an Excellent keyboard, sound and screen resolution and touchscreen (It feels like any Samsung or Ipad tablet). It doesn't weight much and have a decent battery life. In other words, I recommend this laptop, and it turns to be an excellent companion in everyday academic challenge.

Got this for a deal on Black Friday. It’s fast, lightweight, and sleek looking. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because like other people said, the fan can be loud sometimes. I think it’s a hardware issue cause updating or changing settings doesn’t help. It’s strange cause I have an older HP Pavilion x360 from years ago that has a hard drive and it’s quieter than this. At it’s highest the fan almost makes a whistling sound. Fortunately it’s not constantly on and I’m willing to ignore it since I don’t have to use this in a public space.

I've only had this for a few days but it's met and exceeded my expectations, especially for a $500 laptop. I swore off HP laptops back when the DV6 and DV9 were so popular and had melting video cards, but so far I'm glad I bit the bullet and got this. I've been using a 2011 Macbook Pro and a Thinkpad T420 for the last several years and decided it was time to upgrade, and I'm glad I did. The difference in performance compared to the other two is like night and day. I know SSD's make everything seem faster, but with an 8 thread 10th Gen i5 backing it up, I know it's faster. I also greatly appreciate the 1080 LCD. It seems like most inexpensive laptops, including my T420 throw a cheap 1366X768 LCD on them. The clarity on this new display is great as well. I haven't used it in tablet mode yet, but it's nice to have it in case I decide to some day. I love the look of it, the feel of the keyboard and the overall feel in general. It has a plastic case but it doesn't feel plastic; it feels every bit as sturdy as my Macbook Pro. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the Mac, but for now I'm very happy with my purchase and would gladly recommend this to a friend or family member. Good save, HP; you have a new/returning customer.

Overall, this is a good laptop for the money. I've had it for 10 months now and it works just as well as the day I bought it. There are no technical issues as far as the hardware or the software. The backlit keyboard makes it easy to use in a dimly-lit environment, such as on flights. The keyboard is sturdy and comfortable to use. I have Microsoft 365 installed on it, and the apps all work nice and fast. The battery lasts for about 4-6 hours unplugged, depending on the programs I have running. The two major downsides, and the reasons for the 4-Star rating, are the weight (at least 2 lbs heavier than other laptops of this type) and the very-loud fan. Someone's got to re-engineer the fan! Otherwise, as I wrote above, it's a good choice for the money.

Laptop to replace and older one crippled by Windows 7. This is a very good, full featured laptop, researched the recommended contents and this one pretty well fit the bill. Cost increased a bit from the bargain ones available but this will be the best one if you want lots of features. Turns on and loads fast. Quiet running. Screen resolution is very good, colors sharp, 14 inch screen and smaller size and weight is an improvement over a 15 incher. Touch screen is great, improves ease of use a bunch. Touch pad is fast and responsive, best I have used. Keyboard is large and easy to use. I have a separate keyboard but have not used it as of yet. Backlit keyboard is worth the added expense and it conveniently turns itself off when not in use. Speakers are nice, the fingerprint identifier works well. Overall I am very satisfied with this laptop.

My daughter used Macbooks for 4 years in HS, then for her 1st year of college... a few months ago her Macbook was acting up, so we went to get it replaced... I convinced her to look at laptops, because there was nothing specific to MAC/Apple that she needed... She was hesitant at first, but is now telling me she loves her laptop... so much more (notes, highlighting) she can do with the touchscreen.. and the laptop is 1/2 the price of the Macbook

I bought this laptop almost a month ago, I love it!. I had a surface for 5 years and it began having issues. In searching for a replacement, I didnt want to sacrifice quality for price. This HP laptop is a total dream come true no sacrifice here, if anything it superceded all of my expectations.Very lightweight and easy to use

Love this laptop, it's an excellent size for school and home use. The keys are very well separated and easy for you to type. Love the hour glass design, lets you open the laptop from any angle! Nice bright display (despite having to exchange it, the first one i bought came with a dead pixel). Everything looks and clear on the screen. Super fast, great for minimal school work but definitely not for heavy programming or video editing. Mostly for internet browsing, Microsoft programs, and light gaming. When there's heavy load the fan is a bit loud, but not to worry it will quiet down. Love this laptop!!! if youre in doubt, dont be.

I bought this during deal and it was really best deal. Worth the money, Touch screen, usage point of view is pretty good. I did my heavy programming work with more than two server based software and it's performance was amazing. only thing is it is little heavy but with battery life and screen size it is ok.

The keyboard is very nice for a laptop keyboard. I really like the trackpad as well, and of course you can use it as a tablet if you so desire. It is one of the easiest laptops I've ever typed on to be honest. I got it for 500$, so It would be quite a challenge to find a better laptop for that price. It boots up very fast with the ssd it comes with, has a fingerprint sensor to log in quickly, and the screen looks really nice. The ssd is a little small, but you can get an external Hard Drive to transfer the important backup files, pictures, etc. , which you should backup everything important with an external HD anyway, so no marks off for that. Overall with the intel optane and snappy SSD I think this computer would be very satisfactory for anyone in need of basic computer functionality. I don't game, but I doubt this would be a good choice for those of you who plan on gaming. There is no dedicated GPU and the benchmark scores are not very good for the integrated GPU in this laptop.

My wife bought this for a present to me. It replaces a very old laptop. The speed of the computer is a big improvement and the touch screen feature is very useful. It has a good, clear picture and a very comfortable size.

I bought a lower-model Version (i3 processor & 128 SSD) of this HP Pavilion Laptop for my Wife last year & liked it so much I wanted 1 too. I did want larger 256K SSD & illumined Keyboard as I often use in low-light conditions. Faster i5 processor is not really needed & seems to run-hot with Fan working-hard, but has not caused any problems. Touch-Screen & Touch-Pad both work well. This smaller & narrower (without Number-Pad) 14" Laptop is Exactly what I wanted for use while watching TV & is very Easy to Carry and Travel with. Had it 2 months now, Zero problems so far. I waited & Bought it On-Sale for $499.00 and am very Happy with it!

This HP Pavilion x360 2-in-1 has everything I need for work. The touch screen is great and this processes all my programs effortlessly. I got it for under $700, and that's a steal for this computer. I highly recommend it.

I was looking for speed, light weight, 2 in1 computer that has multiple ports. The HP 360 has all of that. Bonus is the lighted key board. Good performing computer. Battery could last longer but exceptional. The weight is good. Price is reasonable for my budget.
