This docking station works seamlessly with my HP laptop and dual monitors. However, there are a few drawbacks. The docking station seems larger than it needs to be. Many other brands produce docking stations that are both smaller and cheaper. Another downside is the USB-C cable that connects to the laptop. HP should make these cables replaceable, not built-in to the unit. My cat chewed the USB-C cable on my previous HP docking station until it was no longer usable, so in my opinion, it's pretty fragile. The cat wasn't on it long before it was toast. If I didn't need immediate access to my dual monitor setup, I very likely would have researched other brands. The Pros: RJ45 ethernet port, USB-C charging through main USB-C cable, 1 USB-C port, 1 HDMI port, 2 Display Ports, 4 additional USB ports, audio/headphone connector, and it just plain works. The Cons: Expensive, Bulky, Short USB-C cable that is not replaceable, only 1 HDMI port, and only 1 USB-C port that feels randomly placed at the front of the unit. I have no idea what I would use this port for. There's no indication on the unit that this is a Thunderbolt port.

Got this for gf so she can connect her hp laptop to use dual monitor setup for work purpose and it works as intended. Evrn though i am sure i can get a cheaper multi monitor usb hub for under 100, but i think its worth it to pay extra 50 for full compatibility. So far, she has zero issue with it after 3 weeks usage.

I bought this for my home office because my firm and my client (USG) also use them. I have an HP Z-Book laptop and an MacBook which both work with it. Overall it's OK - you can charge and connect multiple devices to it with a single USB-C Thunderbolt cable hard-wired to the station. Here's the issue. I and most of my co-workers experience periodic crashing of the device, particularly (get this) with HP laptops. The attached monitor goes dark periodically. You have to power it off and on. If you don't mind rebooting and resetting it every few days...

Bigger than I expected but seems to perform as expected. No users manual and hard to find any instructions although it is mostly intuitive.

Great docking station. My wife uses it for her computer set up and easily connects her computer to all other accessories with ease. Love it!

Only reason I’m giving it a 4 because I wish it had another HDMI port. Other then that it’s great for a remote work office

Great product. I would have given it 5 stars, However, having just one HDMI port was a flaw. My opinion.

Seems to work well. Had an issue 1 day where screen kept going black but haven’t had an issue since then after restarting my laptop and replugging in all my cords to the box

Powers your laptop without issue. You plug it in to your external monitor and computer and get back to work, no setup needed.

Very substantial piece of hardware, which doesn't take up much space. On the other hand, it crashes from time to time. Yes, I updated its firmware. When it infrequently stops working, I power cycle, and it's good to go again.

This docking station is perfect! Able to plug in two monitors and my laptop.

Perfect for what I needed it to be; a simple docking station to connect my laptop to a small home office setup. Works great and have had no issues so far.

I absolutely enjoy it, but the only downside is that when I use it, my headphones no longer work in Bluetooth mode.

Its looks good Go on a good price. Works fine. Need to use my mac book. Still need to access and use all parts.
