This pre-motor and post-motor filter kit helps maintain suction and reduce dust buildup by filtering debris before and after the motor in compatible upright bagless vacuums. The pre-motor foam filter installs inside the dirt tank lid to capture dust before it reaches the motor; it is washable with warm water and mild detergent and must be fully dry before reuse. The post-motor pleated filter installs in the post-motor tray to help block fine dust from re-entering the vacuum airflow; it is not washable and is typically replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on use.
