Replacement remote key fob shell case cover with detachable uncut key blade and included 3 V battery, compatible with BMW 323i / 323Ci / 323is / 328i / 328is (1998 - 2000) / BMW X3 E83 (2004 - 2009) / BMW X5 E53 (2000 - 2009). This is a key cover shell only and does not include the interior remote unit, electronics, or transponder chip. Use it to restore a worn, broken, or cracked keyless entry housing by transferring your existing internal electronics and battery into the new case, then having the uncut blade cut by a local dealer or locksmith to match your vehicle. Battery replacement may require soldering skills depending on your original key design.
