This True HEPA filter kit is compatible with HoMedics AF-10 / AP-15 / AR-10 / AF-75 air purifiers and is a replacement for AF-10FL / AR-1FL / AF-75FL / AP-15CRF. The True HEPA filter helps capture up to 99.97% of airborne contaminants down to 0.3 microns to improve indoor air quality in everyday spaces, while the carbon pre-filter helps reduce odors from pets, smoking, and cooking and captures larger particles like dust, hair, lint, and fabric fibers to help extend HEPA service life. Designed for use in a medium room up to 184 sq ft, this kit supports quick, hassle-free installation so you can get back to cleaner air with minimal downtime. For ongoing performance, vacuum the filter when the clean filter light comes on; under typical household conditions, True HEPA life is approximately 12-18 months and carbon pre-filters should be replaced about every 3 months, with a yearly HEPA replacement commonly recommended. After cleaning or replacing the HEPA filter, reset the filter indicator by pressing and holding the CLEAN-RESET filter indicator button for several seconds until an audible chime sounds and the light turns off.
