This game won't blow anyone's mind. The graphics are pretty so-so, the gameplay is slow, the scoring system is faulty at best. That said, this is still one of my most-played games of the year. For what it is (an on the go hunting game) it is a lot of fun. It is far and away the best hunting game thus far on Switch. It has internal achievements to keep you playing, if you are the type of person who likes goals, but it is also free form enough to allow a person to just get in and play as they want. Personally, I would not play this on a switch lite because of the attached controller. I have killed joycon sticks with sprint (left stick clicks) on other games before, so I keep this reserved to my system where I can replace Joycons. This game has a lot working against it, but it also has a lot going for it including my favorite weapon system in a hunting game (choose the weapon, then choose the caliber from a range available in that weapon), tons of replayability, and a good hunting experience. It works well on the switch as the ability to pick it up and put it down helps extend hunts and make them more successful. If you are looking for a hunting game on switch, get this. It's slow, and has some issues, but it is well worth the monetary and time investment.

I returned this game because it's too hard for kids to play and not as fun as I thought it was going to be. You have to walk your character all over the woods until you find a track or call in an animal which both is not easy. I played this game about 10 times and never was able to find a track or call in an animal. Some people might like it because it's very realistic when it comes to walking in the woods all day but not me. I like video games to be somewhat unrealistic and ones likes this to be family friendly.

Perfect hunting game for the hunting enthusiast. My nephew has played this game daily since receiving the gift. Graphics are great!
