Jerry West McCarty grew up in a divisive, small Iowa town, as the only daughter of a well-esteemed public high school basketball coach. After his passing, she begins coaching youth hoops, but struggles to find acceptance in a town split by invisible, economic walls; one side sipping lattes, the other counting quarters. When the privileged, local private school coach begins to trash her family legacy, she challenges him to an alumni rivalry game his recent State Championship winners against her late father's aging, former players.
