First off let me say how this product saved me from pain pills, waiting for surgery of my torn meniscus took longer than expected. Also it shortened my recovery time afterwards. You literally feel results immediately. Easy to use on your app. Also eligible for a full refund thru secondary insurance.

Purchased this for knee replacement surgery. It was recommended to me by a friend who had the same surgery earlier in the year. It’s fantastic! So many different settings and so easy to use. It has definitely helped speed up my recovery

I deal with constant pain in my right knee. Before I could barely run once a week. I use this daily to warm up and recover after a workout. I’m now running up to 3 times a week. Awesome product.

This is amazing tech. No more lugging around ice packs and heating up gel sleeves in the microwave. Gets hot quickly and cools down just the same. Easy to slap on before or after a workout while playing a video game or watching TV. Pricey but totally unique in the marketplace, does exactly what it claims.

I got it for my husband and he is literally in love with this thing Just one remark that the app sucks For such and awesome and expensive product the app should also deliver some class

I only had this device for less than a month, and it already started falling apart! Unfortunately, I did not get the protection plan for it since I had no idea it would start falling apart. Luckily, I was able to contact the manufacturer and they will be sending replacement. If it weren't for that, I would have rated it much lower!

Great when it works. The Device and the phone seem to not be on the same page. My phone keeps denying permission to use the device. Would not recommend until the Bluetooth situation is fixed .

I wanted this to work so badly! The reviews were so promising. But this product is flimsy and seems poorly made. I expected a high-quality product for $400+. You can alternate hot/cold rice bags and achieve the same effect. Big waste of money, unfortunately.

Sorry this product may not suite your needs! This device is a bit more flexible and not rigid as that allows it to bend and flex a bit with your knee. If you have any other concerns or issues with your device though, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to help!

I was initially skeptical and put off by the $429.00 glorified heat and ice pack in one with a battery life that offers 2 1/2 full treatments and 3 hours to recharge. It is portable, but bulky and hard to walk around the house when it's on. The fans are a bit noisy when cooling. So why would I give it 5 stars? Despite the limitations and the minor annoyances I mentioned, this device is revolutionary. I have Stage 3 osteoarthritis of the knee. My knee has been swollen for months prior to my diagnosis. Taking up to 3 grans of acetaminophen and rubbing my knee several times a day helped only marginally. My cortisone injection helped, but the pain came back rather soon. One of issues that contributes to the progression of osteoarthritis is inflammation. With all the treatment modalities I mentioned, my knee was still swollen. This device has made contrast treatment and cooling inflammatory control effortless. Imagine putting an ice pack on, then 3 minutes later, putting on a heating pad, then switch again over a period of 18 minutes. How could anyone ever apply such a protocol conventionally? It would be impractical having to do that several times a day. This does that with other preprogrammed options, with the ability to change duration and temperature extremes. The supplied power cord allows you to use it for extended sessions. I have some this just in the last few days at least 5 times per day. For the first time in months, my knee is no longer as swollen. It's almost back to normal. I use it in the morning to warm my knee before walking, contrast throughout the day at my desk at work, and cool it off at night. I am virtually pain free. I don't take pain meds, and I rarely use my anti-inflammatory cream. I think this will also be helpful during PT. It goes right into my backpack, and it's even TSA compliant! I don't work for this company, nor have I received compensation for this review. I do want to thank those who made this device possible. It is a truly innovative treatment modality.

I purchased this device to provide support for recovery from a fall where I pancaked my knee causing a sprain. It was so bad I had swelling and could not walk up or down stairs without supports of handholds. And the pain was severe. I found this while searching for ice treatments for sprains and sports recovery. After watching a few YouTube videos and researching the company and product. I purchased the last one in stock at the time. I was very easy to set up on my iPad but it took some time to fully charge. At first I thought I got a broken unit but after letting it charge for two hours it was fully charged. But in the interim I read the instructions and was able to use it while it was charging. I used the default pre-configured setting for injury repair. It got beyond ice cold and deep penetration hot in cycles. I did not adjust it. I used it every day for a week and then used it twice a day every other day for each subsequent week. At first it only helped with immediate pain relief. But as I kept using it I noticed that I was having an easier time walking and walking up and down stairs. After about a month, I noticed that I was pain free for the first time in several months. And I had regained flexibility. The simple fact of my experience was that it worked and worked well. It was easy to fit and adjust and easy to use. I was able to use it while resting on the sofa watching TV and it has been effective. I would highly recommend it. It is expensive but I know I can rely on it to help with targeted support for injury recovery and exercise recovery as well. I am so glad I bought this I didn't even care/realize that it is HSA/HRA/FSA reimbursement eligible! It worked so it was totally worth it to me. Those just make it that much better.

I’ve been using the Hyperice X Knee Contrast Therapy Device for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. As someone who values recovery and effective pain management, this device is a game-changer. The contrast therapy feature, which alternates between heat and cold, provides targeted relief to my knee. I’ve noticed significant improvements in reducing inflammation after workouts and easing stiffness during colder mornings. The temperature control is precise, and the transitions are seamless, making the therapy sessions feel professional. What I also love is its portability and ease of use. The wireless, lightweight design means I can use it anywhere, whether I’m sitting at my desk or relaxing on the couch. The app integration is intuitive, allowing me to customize sessions based on my needs. While the price might seem steep, the results and convenience make it a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for an effective, high-quality knee therapy device, the Hyperice X is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Cools really quick and also warms up relatively fast. As stated in other reviews, the battery life last about 3 sessions and takes about an hour to fully charge again.

Works like a champ. I have arthritis in one of my knees and I use this daily, post exercise. Once I got the app installed, I was ready to go. I have it on "Contrast" mode which alternates between hot and cold.

Works as advertised. Gets cold and gets hot. One complaint would be I wish the battery was bigger. Only can do one maybe two sessions on battery alone. Will work while plugged in though.

This is amazing for me to have before my workout, as I use the heating mode. As a 32-year-old athlete this definitely helps me warm up. After a hard intense purchases I will use the Cold therapy. Mind you that the battery life on this thing sucks, but as long as you keep it charged you are good to go. It takes three hours to charge and only lasts a good hour and a half. To be honest, for the price you might as well just get you some ice bags and find another way to warm your legs, but if you rather avoid that nonsense like me you will not regret this purchase as long as you charge it.

This is a great device but not worth $400 in my opinion. The icing part gets cold but nowhere near as cold as real ice. The contrast therapy works well to improve circulation. The battery is good for about 1-2 routines and then it’s done. For the most part, expect to have it plugged in while using.

This is the best purchase for my knee problems. I was amazed at how this actually feels like an ice pack without melted ice everywhere. It is the right amount of cold without overdoing it. I also love the contrast therapy with hot and cold. You can adjust the temperature on your own to what is tolerable for you! Was apprehensive about whether I would use this enough to justify the price but this was well worth it!

Does what it says it will do. I was surprised how hot and how cold it could get. This helped resolve stiffness in my knees which had downstream impacts of reducing my calf pain. Definitely recommended even if you are not injured but feel I can’t fly as much as you used to be able to do. I bought it on sale so definitely hold out if you are able to
