I've been searching for headphones for gaming and music and these are the best I've tried. They are very comfortable, sound great, and batter life is great. I've had issues with closed back headphones but no issue here. I didn't think I would like the red accents, but they look good in person.

I’m really impressed with the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless headset. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable they are—I can wear them for hours without any pressure or soreness. The noise-canceling is better than I expected and really helps me stay focused, whether I’m on a long conference call or playing games. The sound quality is clean and clear, and the mic picks up my voice without background noise, which has been great for work meetings. They feel solid, the battery lasts a long time, and switching between devices is easy. Overall, a great headset for both productivity and gaming. I actually just picked up a second pair for gaming at home (to complement my other headset) and to take on the road for work!

The headset is comfortable, I can wear it for hours and feel nothing. I has a very long battery life and connect with both wireless and Bluetooth. The sound quality is good and clear and the microphone works well. Overall, it is a solid choice for what it cost.

I did a lot of research on headphones after mine broke, my main concern was comfortability and battery life. These hug my ears very nicely and dont leave a gap anywhere for the sound to escape. Very comfortable and I can move my head around freely without them falling which is def a bonus. These were an insanely good investment for me as I am very loyal to a product when I like it. As for the battery life I used this for night time game sessions for a week and the battery life was at 95%....need I say more...?

These are great, almost perfect, they just have a very little and small detail… THEY WONT WORK WITH A PS5, unless you get a USB hub. Yes I know it sounds crazy that you cant just plug them to your ps5 and get ready to play, you gotta get a usb hub, luckily I had a UGREEN hub, I pluget it to my ps5 and then the worked. I have the wired ones and those made me get theese ones and I almost turned them back cause of that SMALL detail, but other than that they are perfect.

When I looked this headset I thought it repeated version of the original Cloud 3 Wireless until I saw the little “S” in the name. I got intrigued and reviewed it up to the point that I made my purchase and let me tell you, this is one of the best headsets I’ve used in my life! I originally had the Cloud 3 Wireless but then changed due to some decisions, and coming back to it now? God this is incredible!! The bluetooth feature works phenomenally better than expected. With my busy schedule and the 120 hours of battery life included in it, it’s more than perfect! I recommend this headset to people who enjoy hearing great audio from either games or from just watching youtube videos and listening to music!

I had the PS5 headset for over 2 years and I liked them but I decided to upgrade and let me tell you, it's been one of the best investments I've made for my gaming setup. One of my favorite specs has to be the battery, I mean it never dies and when you put it back on it'll tell you you're still at 80% when you played for 5 hours straight. Definitely a good mid-tier option some might say it's low tier but I love them

It's red & black, it has bluetooth & a wireless dongle, it's wireless and it has DTS:X built into it. Also has an AMAZING battery life.

This headset has worked wonders in replacing my old wired one! It has great audio quality for the price and works seamlessly since I've gotten my hands on it. I haven't tried the mic attachment as I have a free standing mic already, but if it's like the rest of the headset I'm sure it's good.

"HyperX Cloud III S Wireless" is certainly a mouthful, but the gaming headset certainly justifies its price. The build quality and the exceptional battery life alone are enough to make this headset shine. Unlike most other headphones and headsets, the Hyper X has an aluminum frame that gives a sturdy and solid feel. They do feel slightly heavier than average, but their comfort is excellent - through long gaming sessions and even overtop of glasses. The company brags about its "signature memory foam" used in the earcup padding - and while it is very comfortable and does a good job at isolating outside noise, they do lack breathability and get quite warm. I had to do a bit of research to figure out what the "S" in HyperX Cloud III S Wireless meant. Apparently, the "S" only means that this headset has an enhanced feature set: Mainly referring to the ability to connect to devices using either Bluetooth or a 2.4HGz wireless connection. Interestingly, because HyperX is made by HP, the headset can actually connect to certain HP OMEN laptops without the need to plug in the USB Dongle. I do very much appreciate that the dongle is USB-C, and that it also comes with a USB-A adapter. With the Dongle, the headset is almost an all-in-one device. Almost anything that the dongle is plugged into instantly works...with the exception of the Xbox. It truly is a shame that Xbox is the one device that doesn't work in any capacity. PC, Playstation 4 & 5, Smartphones, and even the Nintendo Switch all work, but plug it into the Xbox and there is absolution 0 functionality. No Sound - Nothin'. Also odd is that Bluetooth audio sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better (or at least louder and more rich) than the 2.4GHz connection. The 2.4GHz connection leaves a lot to be desired and makes the audio very middle of the road and unimpressive. But, switch to Bluetooth and the volume, clarity, and fullness improves. Even my wife said that the microphone sounds slightly better over Bluetooth. Another strange feature is that the earcups have magnetic plate covers. If this is intended as a customization feature, HyperX doesn't mention it at all. It will be interesting to see if they offer different plate options in the future. I thought maybe removing the plates would provide access to screws to take apart the headset, but this is not the case. As I've mentioned, I do believe that the price is justified, but there are areas which I believe HyperX (or HP) could improve. I would like there to be Mic Monitoring. (This allows the user of the headset to hear their own voice when speaking so that they don't sound so isolated, distant, and muted while connected in calls or via game chat). Negatives: - Heavier than average headsets - No active noise cancellation - Does not work with Xbox - Earcups trap in heat - Does not fold for storage - Earcups do not pivot - Lacks Bass (even though drivers are larger than average) - No Voice Monitoring - Audion is not consistent between Bluetooth & 2.4GHz - Earcups are not magnetic or removable for replacement or repair Positives: + Exceptional Battery Life + Superior Build Quality + Comes with a Bag to carry headphones, microphone, dongle, & dongle adapter + Features multiple connection options (Bluetooth & 2.4GHz) + Very Comfortable (even over glasses) + Voice prompts sound natural and are easy to understand + When the microphone is muted, a red-light displays that can be seen out of the corner of your eyes Overall, a great headset. But, there is still room for improvement.

What I liked -Extremely comfortable for marathon sessions -Battery life that you can forget about charging -Clear, human-sounding voice prompts -Versatile dongle (USB-A or USB-C) that plays nicely with laptops What could be better -Needs Dolby Access tuning on PC to avoid a flat presentation -Bluetooth audio is merely okay compared to the dongle -No ANC for noisy environments (understandable given battery goals) Setup tip (PC) Enable spatial audio in Dolby Access, pick a gaming preset as a starting point, then fine-tune EQ to taste. Double-check Windows is set to the headset/dongle and spatial audio is on; that’s where the surround effect really clicks. Bottom line High marks for comfort, battery life, and sound (once Dolby Access is configured on PC). If you value all-day comfort and weeks-long runtime and don’t need ANC, the Cloud III S Wireless is an easy recommendation.

The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless Gaming Headset is a solid well-built pair of headphones by HP. Included in the box are: the headset, a detachable mic, a wireless dongle, USB-C to USB-A adapter, USB charge cable, a headset bag, which I really appreciate and a quick start guide that helped me to understand the functions of the buttons. So far, I have used them for gaming on my PS5 with the 2.4ghz dongle, via bluetooth for listening to music via my iPhone and my pc, as well as bluetooth from my PC for watching Netflix. They work quite well! Everything sounded excellent to me - I was able to adjust a couple settings for my PS5, such as boosting quiet sounds, and that actually felt like I was cheating! I could hear and understand voices so much more clearly!! They are comfortable to wear for extended periods without issue. With their leatherette ear cups, I did experience some accumulating perspiration after a lengthy period, but I feel that is to be expected. The headband is padded which adds to the comfort. A surprising thing to me was the clarity with the microphone during phone calls. I was able to take a call and I heard the person so well and they remarked that they could clearly hear me without background noises. When connecting to the PS5 via the included 2.4ghz dongle, it did take a minute for it to finally connect and it gave me voice confirmation of that connection. After the initial connection, I experienced no issues at all. I stayed connected during my playing session without a problem. While using these to listen to/watch Netflix, it was a bit out of sync at the start but that worked out (thankfully) after a minute or 2 and then everything was great after that. There were no problems at all listening to music - the sound was terrific. These aren't audiophile style headphones, but they sounded so good without any adjustments to an equalizer. When I did download HP's Ngenuity software to my PC, I was able to set up a modest equalizer which made some nice adjustments to the sound. There are no soaring highs and deep, deep bass lows, but what they do have makes them absolutely wonderful for sound for me. And with an expected 120 hours of battery before needing charging, I can listen for days on end. I love everything about these headphones. They have what I need to make them my go-to gaming, movie-watching and music listening headphones. I would recommend these to anyone.

This is my first experience with the HyperX brand, and my I am beyond impressed with my initial impressions. This headset may be the most well rounded headset I’ve come across, as well as one of the easiest to use. Fit and Comfort - This set is incredibly comfortable to wear, with very little pressure on the head. The leatherette padding on the ears and headband is buttery soft, and the ear pads fully enclose the ears. What I’m most excited about is the range of size adjustability, especially how small you can make them. I’ve always struggled to find a good fit because I have a smaller head, but these fit perfectly! What’s even better, they fit my 10-year-old son, and they stay put when he wears them. On a side note, my son has diagnosed mild autism and is highly sensory-driven. He’s tried every pair of headphones I’ve ever owned, but this is the first pair he’s ever asked to keep. When I asked what he’d want to listen to, he said he didn’t care about listening to anything, he just wanted to wear them because they were so soft and comfortable. Now he wears them around the house and even tries to sleep in them. I think this really says something about how comfortable these are. Back to the specs, these are surprisingly flexible and durable. You can twist them back and forth, and they flex with ease. They’re built to last, and since my son has unofficially claimed them, I’m especially glad they’re made this way. One thing that caught me off guard was the beamforming mic. I had assumed the detachable mic was required, but it turns out the built-in beamforming mic activates when the other isn’t plugged in. I actually prefer it. While the headset mic is clearer, I find its volume a bit low, even after adjustments in Ngenuity. The beamforming mic, on the other hand, is louder (though it picks up more background noise). The ability to take calls without the headset mic is a huge for me. Software & Features - HyperX Cloud uses a simple software called Ngenuity, though it’s completely optional. I do recommend downloading it to unlock DTS:X Spatial Sound, which makes a real difference. You can also build a custom EQ. While you can’t toggle EQs directly on the headset, it does remember the last setting used in Ngenuity. Other things worth mentioning: The 2.4GHz connection has an absurdly long range, as in zero disruption from one end of my house to the other. I would imagine this is at least 50 feet. The battery life feels practically infinite. I’ve logged so many hours listening to music, and it still shows 99%. Also, the mic end lights up red when muted, which is really convenient to have a visual que while gaming. Lastly, the ear plates are magnetically attached and removable. I did some digging on this, and the rumor is HyperX is releasing custom editions plates soon. It's a fun concept, but at the same time I know my kid is going to pull them off and lose them. Final Thoughts - I honestly don’t know where you’d find a more balanced headset. It sounds fantastic, looks sleek, has unreal battery life, impressive durability, a wide fit range, and even a beamforming mic. Unless you’re looking for RGB lighting, this headset should check every box.

Overall, a solid choice, small area's of opportunity. This HyperX - Cloud III S Wireless Gaming Headset checks a lot of boxes, but... The Pros: *Excellent sound quality *Relatively comfortable, even for long periods of time *Multi-connectivity options *2.4 Gig connectivity *Bluetooth connectivity *Noise cancelling microphone (more on that later) *Long battery life *Good build quality *Ergonomic controls *Intuitive controls and function OK, so at this point, you are probably wondering why I gave it four stars instead of five. Fair enough, but here is where (especially at this price point), I seee room for improvement *Microphone is removeable, it only has one input, none on the other *No Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) for the headphones OK, I know these may sound like I'm nit-picking, but again, I nhave come to expect those as we are reaching the upper-end. While the closed back and memory foam ear-cups provide passive noise cancellatiion, ANC provides for a more isolated, intense, and nuanced game play. Minor points, I believe important points. These are a solid choice, but the one side microphone and no ANC kept me giving them them that last star rating.

With so many choices when it comes to gaming headsets the HyperX - Cloud III S wireless headset is at the top of the list with it's comfort, great sound and features. Included in the box is the headset itself, comfortable headband with cushioning accented with what seems to be red aluminum/stainless steel forks, which by the way are very light and sof ear cushions. A plug in mic, USB dongle, charging cable and carry bag is also included. Connecting the HyperX Cloud III S was very simple, I just plugged in the USB dongle and my computer instantly recognized the headset and I was ready to start gaming. For wireless connectivity you can choose from Bluetooth or wireless RF 2.4 Ghz, The HyperX - Cloud II S has a maximum wireless range of 65 feet, rated at 120 hours of battery life with a 5 hour charge time. The headset is also compatible with PC, Nintendo Swiths, Playstation 5/4 or any Bluetooth-enabled device. For me the HyperX - Cloud III S wireless headset sets a standard and gives me all the features I need & expect from a gaming headset. Sound is clear, fit is comfortable and it looks great.

A few years ago, I picked up a pair of HyperX Cloud II Wireless headphones and was blown away. The sound and mic quality were decent and the batter life above average but what blew me away was the comfort level. They were, without a doubt, the most comfortable gaming headphones I had ever worn and what they lacked in audio quality was grossly overshadowed by the comfort level. In the end, I swapped to another pair of wireless cans for gaming because they had superior sound and mic pick up but they weren't as comfortable as the Cloud II. Enter the Cloud III Wireless. Visually, they strike a strong resemblance to not only the Cloud II but Alienware's new line of 2025 wireless headphones. I like the presentation when opening the box and one thing I've noticed usually acquiring a few sets of wireless cans each year (if not more) is the gradual switch this year to USB-C dongles with a USB-A adapter. In the past, the dongles were usually USB-A. It shows the growing switch to USB-C becoming the norm which I like as all my laptops and desktops have USB-C along with USB-A. What you end up with is a slightly refined head cushion, thicker, plusher ear cushions and improved sound and mic pick up. Listening to some music selections, The bass is better and the mids were a touch clearer listening to Kitaro's "Caravansary" Testing the mic with a few test recordings the pick up was improved. The Cloud II were good enough but the III were just a touch better. Overall, looking and using them side by side with the Cloud II, I would definitely say the Cloud III are more of a evolutionary advancement than revolutionary and they take what was already a very solid product and enhance it even more than before. I spent a few nights testing them out playing Fallout 76 and World of Warcraft and these are definitely a worthy successor to the II's. That little bit of richer sound and bass came through nicely. They never lost signal too just like the Cloud II. Nothing worse than wireless headphones losing sync and squawking at you like some lesser sets would do in the past. These have been solid. The only slightly negative thing is in a strange twist of things, I actually find the Cloud II to be a tiny bit more comfortable than the Cloud III. I do think this is because of the slightly larger sized cushions / cans and thicker head band. It isn't a deal breaker and these are very, very comfortable but just by a hair the II's are more comfortable than the III's but in every other category the III's extend the pros of the II's in the best way. A very solid set of gaming cans.

The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless headset has been a solid performer across the board. While it doesn’t have active noise canceling, the audio quality is surprisingly good. In games like Call of Duty: Mobile, I could easily pick out directional sounds like footsteps and reloads, which made a difference during more intense matches. Music also sounds great — I tested a wide variety of music. I thought everything sounded even and high-quality, but not exceptional. Wireless connectivity has been reliable. I didn’t test it on a Nintendo Switch, but I did connect it to my Mac, iPhone, PC, and even an Xbox. The Bluetooth connection held steady, and using the 2.4 GHz dongle gave me lag-free performance — even during fast-paced gameplay. I’ve been really impressed with how stable the signal is, no matter what I’m using. Battery life has been great, too. Out of the box, the headset had about 81% charge, and it barely dropped during a full day of use. I never felt like I had to constantly top it off, which is a huge plus if you game a lot or forget to plug things in. The mic snaps in easily and works just fine. Everyone could hear me clearly, whether I was on Discord or in a party chat. The only thing I wish it had was a proper hear-through or sidetone feature built in — it’s only available through the app, and only when the mic is being actively used in another app. Comfort-wise, the headset felt great at first. The ear cushions are soft and the build feels sturdy. That said, after about an hour or so, I did start to notice a bit of pressure on the sides of my head. Not terrible, but something to keep in mind if you wear headsets for long sessions. All in all, it’s a strong choice if you want a wireless headset that works across platforms and delivers dependable performance.

I have these in the wired version and decided i wanted a wireless option. they are very easy to set up and use. the battery life so far has lasted me a long time, i haven’t had to charge them yet. these are also very comfortable and lightweight. i also love the white.
