IBUYPOWER I9 - Very cool and responsive desktop
I purchased the iBUYPOWER – Slate MESH Gaming Desktop (Intel Core i9-14900F, RTX 4070 Super, 32GB DDR5 RGB RAM, 2TB SSD) from Best Buy, and overall I’m very impressed. It arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well. Setup was fast, and the build quality looks fantastic. My only hiccup was during the first startup. There was protective packing inside the case (a clear insert around the GPU), and since this is a newer style case, I had no idea how to open it. A quick call to customer support solved it—they sent me a video, and the side panel came off easily once I knew the trick. Would have loved a clearer walk-through included in the box, but support was great. Performance is outstanding. I’m not using it for gaming—I bought it for digital content creation, and it runs everything fast and smooth. No lag, no issues, just pure power ready to go. Highly recommend the system for creators and power users. Great machine once you get past that first surprise inside the case!
