About this product
The open-end CAT-6 Feed-Thru RJ45 Mod Plugs (100 pk) from IDEAL offers several advantages over standard closed-end connectors. Conductor order can be verified prior to crimping. Conductors that feed-thru the connector are inserted or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are as close to the pin contacts as possible and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection. Conductors can be cut flush with the end face of the connector when used with the FT-45 Crimp Tool.
Features
Simplifies Assembly
Feed-thru design allows you to verify conductor order before crimping, reducing errors during twisted pair cable assembly
Flush-Cut Conductors
Excess conductors are trimmed flush with the plug to prevent accidental contact outside the connector
Cat 6 Compatibility
8-position, 8-contact RJ45 mod plugs designed specifically for CAT-6 cables to ensure reliable network performance
Gold-Plated Contacts
50 micro-inch gold plating on contacts provides long-term reliability and consistent connectivity
