The 50-Count Jar of IDEAL 85-368 Shielded Feed-Thru CAT6A/6/5E Modular Plugs are shielded with ground wire for conductors .040 in. to .048 in. They are specifically designed to handle the challenges faced with field termination of shielded cables but will also work with unshielded cables. Utilizing a unique pin and stagger pattern, the single-piece design helps to funnel the conductors through the connector and out of the Feed-Thru end. No load bars or multipiece assemblies are required. These modular plugs are simply twisted for an easy assembly process. These plugs require the IDEAL FT-45 Crimp Tool to terminate. No adjustments or blade changes are required to the FT-45 to use these connectors.

Conductors that feed-thru the connector are inserted or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are as close to the pin contacts as possible and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection. Conductors can be cut flush with the end face of the connector when used with the FT-45 Crimp Tool.
