I have the stack ifi Zen Can V3/Zen Dac V3 for desktop setup and am more than happy with its sound quality. Its limitation is obvious, portability. The GR2 isn’t only portable but packs with so many features. This feels like a quality item. Constructed using a ridged aluminum chassis adorned with an OLED touchscreen and topped with a metal control knob. It is on a different level compared to my desktop setup. The digital filters, especially the K2HD, brings a new audio nirvana to my ears. I own a tube amp as well and never a fan of its sound signature but with GR2 as its dac, it sings using the K2HD. The GR2 came out in time when I needed a portable dac/amp. This drives easily my IEM’s and power-hungry HP. Kudos to ifi for such a good product. A legend perfected indeed!

This works great with my Tidal subscription. It is really easy to use with the new display.
