Customer Ratings & Reviews

My new Dell desktop computer, keyboard, and mouse were installed. My old Dell desktop, monitor. keyboard and mouse were disconnected. My new Windows Office was downloaded and installed. Unfortunately, because my old system had the proverbial blue screen of death, the data from the old to the new could not be transferred (which I suspected) and the charge paid for the data transfer was reversed. Everything was done timely within 2 hours. The new system had been working fine.

Andrew was fantastic. All my data was safely transferred to the new computer. And the printer hooked up and running. And I was able to download my Money platform and financial data is all safe and functioning as needed. He's the best! Please let Andrew know my 70 year old brain was able to remember that the Lemmings game ran on DOS.

I had two consecutive days of Geek Squad service. I started with the set up of a new desktop computer and a new modem/router. The modem/router was a pain to get online but eventually it was activated by Comcast. Unfortunately as hard as I tried to have everything ready for the agent one BIG problem arose that I had not anticipated. My old monitor was not compatible with the new desktop. So a Plan B had to be quickly initiated. The next day the agent who was in charge of the data transfer was able to get things set up after I ran out and bought a monitor. After he left I had a couple of issues with my email and a photo printer which was not communicating with my new router. I had a redo visit and the same agent came back as did the data transfer and now things are working great. My only buyer beware is that I had a Total Tech membership but I bought the new desktop and modem/router from another company. I paid dearly for that issue. If I bought all of the equipment from Best Buy it would have been many hundreds of dollars less. The agents did a good job and every technology issue cannot be addressed when they are present. I am glad that the agent came back to fix some of the issues that I had. All and all I am still a big fan of the Geek Squad.

The agent transferred all data from my old computer to my new one and made sure that all important services that I depend upon regularly were active and working properly.

Excellent and professional service provided. In home data transfer took the stress out of obtaining new computer.

Agent Austin was amazing - he managed getting my Courier Recovery External Drive set up restoring all my backed up files onto my new computer making sure they went into the correct drives on my new computer, and clearly explaining how to view them when the restore was completed to be sure ALL my files had been restored. This, I feel would have been a very intimidating task for me to do myself - by having Total Tech support and in-home assistance from a trustworthy agent I had full confidence in was great!

Most of the transfer went very well but I ended up with multiples of the same thing in my iTunes library. The technician was very friendly and helpful.

The agent got my data from mold iMac to my new iMac, after I had messed up the transfer,

My Geek Squad member was in a word...awesome. I had no idea what to do to save my old backup drive info to my new Dell. He took care of everything and walked me through the process as he went along. More importantly, he used layman's terms I could understand and didn't make me feel like a complete doofus.

The agent did a great job setting up my system and transferring data from my old computer. He got here right on time and was very professional and answered all my questions and made suggestions to keep the system running well. I would highly recommend him

The in-home data transfer from my sick computer to a new one went very well. The technician was very competent and performed the transfer in minimal time. I am very satisfied with the service and will do it again in the future.

THE MEMBER OF THE GEEK SQUAD WHO SHOW UP ON FRIDAY, NOV 19 WAS VERY EXCELLENT MATTHEW JORGENSEN. THE TRANSFER OF DATA WAS COMPLETED EXCELLENTLY. ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND WORK THROUGHT THE ISSUES TO MY SATISFACTION. HE HELP ME WITH ALL MY ISSUES

The Geek Squad was on time and very efficient in porting data from the old computer to the new. There were a few surprises on emails that couldn't be transferred, but overall the process was efficient and user friendly.

The agent was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He clearly answered all my questions and stayed with me until he was sure I was comfortable with the new computer.

Tech was knowledgable and professional. Work done on time and correctly Spent time answering questions and introducing me to new operating system.

Really appreciated Jonathan's help and expert knowledge. He answered all my questions. Would hope he could be our "Geek" every time.

The technician did an excellent job getting our new laptop up and ready to use. He answered all our questions professionally.

The Geeks were to hook up my new computer, transfer data, and place a new printer in service and place the existing printer in service. Very disappointed: cannot print to either printer from the new computer.

Nick is amazing! I thought I had lost two essential programs but with his excellent help, all were found and all is well!

Bin, connected my data from old computer to new wi-fi. It is great, I did not have to re learn anything, as everything is the same.
