Heaven Wept is Inferi at their most focused and ferocious razor-sharp technical death metal driven by relentless riffing, sweeping melodies, and precision-engineered brutality. Balancing surgical aggression with cinematic depth, the album pushes the band's sound to it's most refined and punishing form yet. Album Tracks 1. The Rapture of Dead Light 2. Feed Me Your Fear 3. Las Vegas, NV thrashers THE HORDE OF TORMENT first formed in 1987 under the name of PESTILENCE, before rechristening the band during the years that followed. As THE HORDE OF TORMENT, the group issued three demos between 1989 and 1991, demonstrating a brand of energetic thrash metal that had the songs and the drive to succeed on a larger scale. However, despite all of the attention received from the metal press of their era, THE HORDE OF TORMENT never secured a record deal, relegating their recordings to becoming cult favorites on the tape-trading circuit. Fan demand finally led to a proper Divebomb Records reissue, Distorted Recollections, in 2015. Years in the making, Distorted Recollections compiled THE HORDE OF TORMENT's Product of a Sick Mind and Inherit the Sin demos, the 1987 Infected demo recorded as PESTILENCE, plus additional rare bonus tracks, before eventually selling out. One of the most-requested represses for Divebomb, a new-and-improved edition of Distorted Recollections is now here. In addition to all of the studio recordings presented in 2015, the live and rehearsal tracks have been replaced by a brand-new remix of 1991's Inherit the Sin demo, resulting from a new transfer off the original multi-track reel. The master reel for Product of a Sick Mind was also run, but apparently suffered a severe magnetic event at some point over the last three decades, with only one song (included herein) surviving unscathed. Steven Cobb's cover art has also been updated with a new color scheme throughout the 20-page booklet jam-packed with photos, lyrics, liner notes, and ephemera. For the fans, by the fans! Album Tracks 1. 1. Inherit the Sin 2. 2. Alive Within 3. 3. Pain Asylum 4. 4. Inherit the Sin 5. 5. Alive Within 6. 6. Pain Asylum 7. 7. Just Call Me Suicide 8. 8. Tear Down the Walls 9. 9. Product of a Sick Mind 10. 10. Viral Malignance
![Mizmor / Hell - Alluvion - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/be3e96e3-1aee-4c78-bae2-eecddaa4081a.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
The stories of Mizmor and Hell are, for all intents and purposes, inextricably intertwined. For twenty years A.L.N. (Mizmor) and M.S.W. (Hell) have been orbiting the same fertile creative circles in the Pacific Northwest. They've done stints as live/touring members for each other's solo endeavors and they've contributed their distinctive voices to each other's recordings. A.L.N. and M.S.W. even aligned their cathartic outlets for a now impossible to find Mizmor/Hell split, unleashed upon the world in 2014. A collaboration record like Alluvion feels as if it was always predestined. The blueprint for Alluvion had been drafted long ago and it wallowed in obscurity, it's memory swirling in the ether, patiently waiting for a rogue spark to manifest it's existence. And, as luck would have it, when A.L.N. and M.S.W. once again found themselves in the midst of each other's boundless creative universes, they were now prepared to undertake the monumental task.A.L.N. and M.S.W. intend for the compositions on Alluvion to be used as a map to help navigate the listener through bouts of psychic distress, touching upon emotions both terribly familiar and wholly extrinsic. Pensive, tranquil movements combust into passages of absolutely soul-searing sludge. Suffocating, blackened doom bursts out of unknown crevasses; punctuated by the unsettling voices of beings doing their damnedest to claw their way out of canyons carved by mental anguish. It's a harrowing journey, but one that seeks to provide a necessary catharsis. Alluvion is meant to act as a lens into the mind's seemingly mystifying geography; a vessel for the self-exploration of the complex terrains of the human psyche. Album Tracks 1. Begging to Be Lost 2. Vision I 3. Pandemonium's Throat 4. Vision II
