Overall I am satisfied with this invection cooking microwave. It is high-powered, which means foods are cooked and hot fairly quickly as compared to other microwaves. There are many features, including auto features, that are useful for cooking (or defrosting or melting) specific types of foods. I do have a complaint, and that is that the microwave won't cook and allow the kitchen timer to operate at the same time, so I can't time my eggs boiling on the stove while microwaving my TV dinner. That is a bummer. But like I said, the auto features are very convenient. I recommend taking the time to read the manual so you become familiar with all the product's capabilities. Oh, and with many stainless steel appliances, this one retains fingerprints, so be mindful to wipe them off often.

I was on the fence about getting a standard microwave or one with the inverter technology. Glad I picked the inverter. It is whisper quiet, defrosts without browning the edges of meat, does not draw as much power, and heats great. I only have 2 dislikes with this unit. The clock light is really bright. I mean it lights up my kitchen like a night light bright. The second is that, I wish the easy set buttons would have gone 1-6 instead of just 1-3. A lot of the side dish meals require 4 to 6 minute cook times so it would have been easier to hit 4,5, or 6 and go rather than enter time manually and hit start. I do like that the beep when done is just a gentle reminder and not the incessant klaxon type beep that my old GE had. That thing would scare ya.

I would have given 5 stars except the clock runs fast (1 minute per week) so after 3 weeks, the clock is 3 minutes fast. Besides that, it is a great microwave. It is very quite and heats very evenly when reheating especially if you use a lower power level on a longer time setting.

Daughter moved right before Christmas and needed a new microwave. I found this one and I own a few insignia products and all have worked great so far so I bought her this one. She says it works great. Price was good. I highly recommend.

I've had it a couple of months and it has done a great job. Can't beat the price and get inverter technology, sensor cooking, and it looks good.

I did not see this microwave before I ordered it. This was a gift for my parents, so I was just hoping for the best. Once they plugged it in and started using it, I could not believe how quiet it was. I also didn't realize how big it would be but the size didn't matter because they loved it. I've never cooked a meal in a microwave before but you can cook a meal in this thing because it's so big! I'm honestly thinking of getting one for myself. I would definitely recommend this someone looking for a new microwave.

You won’t find a microwave with inverter technology for any cheaper than this. It’s 1.6 cubic feet has spacious interior while keeping your counter space so medium size foot print. Has a plethora of one push buttons all seem to work well but the butter soften one could use some tweaking. Cleans pretty easily. I’m happy with my purchase.

We love this microwave! It's much more modern-looking and larger than our old little white one. We were also surprised at how much more powerful it is, and quiet! It cooks a pouch of popcorn in only a minute and a half.

extremely quiet, doesn't take up much more counter space than my old 1.1 cubic foot model. Make sure to adjust your power settings when cooking, though- 25% more juice than my old 1000 watt made for some overly crispy items before I thought to reduce power to match cooking times on packages.

Happy with this purchase. Super value on Best Buy Deal of the Day! Has really nice features. The stainless steel is a nice presentation; however, the push-button door release shows every stain, but cleans easily.

So far, it has been functioning as advertised. It is a little larger than my previous microwave. It is nicer looking than my old microwave oven. We will become accustomed to the larger size, shortly. It is pleasant to look at.

I love the size of having a larger microwave and the speed at which this microwave heats food. No major complaints with the function of this microwave other than that the door is really loud when it opens and closes.

Easy to learn how to use. Heats well and even popcorn is easier as it has 3 setting for different size bags.

We were looking to buy a new microwave after our old one died. At the advice of our son (who has bought several Insignia products) we looked at the Insignia 1.6 cu. ft. stainless steel microwave. The price was perfect, so we bought it. So happy with it! Works like a charm and the settings are so accurate. The only negative is that I wish the control panel was backlit to make it easier to see the buttons since they are small.

I replaced older microwave with this new beauty! Matches the black and stainless steel collection in my kitchen perfectly. Works wonderfully and didn't break the bank. Happy wife equals happy life!

No complaints so far with this microwave. Replaced a GE that started turning on every time we opened the door. This microwave is much quieter, and heats food really well.
