Q: Once hot, how long does the water stay hot in the pot? Will it stay warm for hours or cool quickly?
A: Once hot it will stay hot in your cup longer than in this pot. It dies not have a stay warm feature.
Q: How hot does the water get? (I work with alot of different temp Teas)
A: very hot, it boils

A: Hardly 8min for full tank
A: You cannot add coffee into kettle. It is strictly for heating up water.
Q: How does the filter attach?
A: No matter what you do the filter will not stay in place. Throw it away or it will fall in the water and eventually touch the heating element and melt.
