Q: Have you improved the speakers from the previous model?
A: These units have been redesigned, and do have different speakers than the previous version. I would suggest going into the store and playing with the display model, since personal preference will be your best option to decide.
Q: connectivity
A: At this point the Tablet does not support MHL, you may want to look into Chromecast or similar wifi streaming service.
Q: does a warrantee come with this Tablet
A: 12 months parts and labor. BestBuy doesn't offer an extended warranty on the tablet. $40 will get you an enhanced (not extended) 1 year warranty which covers accidental damage.
Q: Does it have Chinese character writing capability?
A: Yes, in the setup under language, I recognize 2 entries that are for Chinese (zhong guo) each of which has some other Chinese characters in parentheses which I don't recognize.
Q: How much does the tablet weigh?
A: This unit weighs 22.4 ounces.
Q: GPS
A: Yes, this unit has stand alone GPS functionality.
Q: Does this tablet have the multiple user feature or is it disabled?
A: I believe the Android version that comes on the tablet does not support multi user, but when the next Android upgrade rolls out that feature is supposed to be supported from what I remember.
Q: Android 5.0
A: Provided there are no certification issues, it should have an update available in the future. At this time we do not have any timeframe that I can estimate for you.
