i purchased this cable to do a temporary run of Cat 6 from my office to my living room where I have a 6 port switch connected and another one to go from the switch to my dining room where I have my indoor TV Antenna and HD HomeRun hooked up. They work flawlessly for what I need them to do until I can get Cat6 routed properly through the house, and I had plenty of extra cable length to spare. Once I'm through with them, I'll be able to have spare cables in case I need to make a very long patch.

This is a really great ethernet cable for Fios Gigabit internet. The long length means I can run it from my router to my TV, DVD and Cable box. But really it works best for gaming on my laptop. I get an average of 900 Mpbs for my internet connection at home.

Hard to get excited about a cable, but this one really impressed me. It’s well made and feels solid, yet it isn’t overly thick—making it much easier to manage. The slim design helps a lot with flexibility, especially when running it through tight spaces or conduits. Overall, great quality and very practical for cleaner setups.

I have a fairly good wireless network in my house but sometimes I have raid events where I play multiple characters simultaneously and having any network Lag can kill me; so I switch to cabled network for those times because it is more reliable than wifi and I don’t have to worry about many of the issues that wireless networks have that a wire doesn’t. I marked them low on the price because they are still pricing the cables 10000% over cost and they are 4.6 billion years old so it’s time the price comes down. I remember using old cat cables to strap my velociraptor to the hitching post at the saloon and you can buy a roll of blank cat6 cable that will go to the moon and back for $100 you just need the tool and a bag of male ends and you can make as many cables as you want but I only needed 2 cables so it wasn’t worth bulk prices (wife wouldn’t let me buy it) Anyway, the quality is good, the shielding is good, the online specs claim the wire is twisted copper so it’s better than aluminum. It has gold contacts at the male ends for superior connection and as the attached photo shows; I also attached a photo next to an Xbox One controller for scale, it has a protective cover to protect the locking clip if you have to pull it through a wall so it doesn’t get broken off and your cable ends up not able to lock into the network port and you have to do some janky tape job that collects dust and you invite a hot goth girl over to see your gaming set up and she sees your dusty sticky cable and points and laughs at you and you end up being an internet meme. Long story short don’t skimp on network cables or future generations will point and laugh at you.

I thought it wasn’t going to be long enough but it was perfect. The quality and texture are excellent and it is worth the price. Definitely get something longer if you have a big room though.

Did my research in under 30 min. Went to Best Buy, bought this Ethernet cable and a wifi extender, the wifi extender has a Ethernet port and I connected this cable from that port, directly into the Ethernet port on the back of my ps5. Works flawlessly. Would buy again if I needed to. Used to lag when multiple people would be using the wifi, now I game crazy smoothly

This is a solid, high-quality Ethernet cable for the price. I purchased it specifically for a wired connection while playing online games, since wireless connections are not always stable. After switching to a wired setup, the connection has been much more reliable, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. Thanks to my My Best Buy Plus membership, I received a discount of over 60%, which made this purchase an even better deal. Overall, I’m very happy with both the price and the quality. Definitely recommended.

Strong connection when connected to my Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 systems. Long enough so it is not stretched out.

Lightening fried my old router so while i was upgrading i decided to add in a switch before the router to keep the computer and printer hardwired. The Insignia 8' Cat 6 wire was plenty long to reach what I needed to jump from my switch to router. It seems to be of a good quality cable.

This cable will do everything you need, up to the limit of your router. I’m getting ~1,000 mbps download speed, 0% packet loss, and ~14 ms delay (picture below). I use it to play Call of Duty Warzone on my Xbox series X, and it gives me a SERIOUS competitive edge. Highly recommended for gaming on PC, Xbox, or PS5

I needed an Ethernet Cable that was at least 100 feet in length. Best Buy had exactly what I needed - on the shelf! I installed this cable in our church for a video security setup that I helped install. Keep up the good work!

Very robust Cat-6 Ethernet cable! Good quality, especially at the connectors. The 14' length allowed me to be able to access the modem easily. I would recommend this product. Note: Be sure to measure your distance twice!

This is a very nice Solid Ethernet Cable for Superfast speeds. I wanted an ethernet cable to compliment my FiOS gigabit internet connection and so this seemed to do the trick. Over WiFi my average speeds were 200 - 300 Mbps , but with the Insignia Cat6 Ethernet I can get well over 900 Mbps upload and download most of the time.
