Q: What type of batteries does the unit take, and are they included?
A: 2 double A batteries, they are not included
A: There is a feature on the remote to lock the volume control to a specific device so that you would be able to control the volume regardless of which device you currently have the remote set to control
Q: Will this remote work the roku 3?
A: Yes this remote works with Roku.
A: No, it does not work within the apps. It only works the television functions. I use the YouTube TV, Prime Video, and Netflix apps, but this remote does not function with them. I have been searching for a universal remote that is compatible with the LG smart TV and the apps, but have been unable to find one. This one was the best in terms of working the TV functions (way better than the remote that comes with the TV), but is useless within the apps.
A: I’m sorry to say but no it won’t work. I tried several different ways but none worked.
Q: Is the keyboard backlit? If not, is there another Insignia model that is? Please advise.
A: This remote control is not lit. I didn't realize that it did not light up until I got it home and started programming it. It is an excellent remote control, easy to program, but I would prefer it backlit.
Q: will this work with a vizio tv
A: Yes, this remote is compatible with Vizio.
Q: will this replace the remote (NS-RCO6A-11) that came with my tv?
A: This remote has universal compatibility with our newer Insignia TV (manufactured with the past couple years). Best Buy does have a 15 day return policy that would allow you to test its functionality and return the unit if you are not satisfied.
