I read a lot of negative reviews on this TV and they were all as wrong as can be. This TV is legit. Roku works very well, CEC is pretty handy and works seamlessly. The only thing I would change is it needs 2 remotes. The remote it came with is fine for just channel surfing or easy random things. When going to a specific channel or trying to use a specific function, it gets a little weird. A lot of the buttons are multi function so trying to remember what does what it what apps can be frustrating. The picture is great, the built in speakers are better than my Samsung and LG, the Wi-Fi is easy to connect and hasn't caused any issues. Also, the remote should be Bluetooth like they are on the Roku sticks. It has to be pointed right at the TV for the IR to make a good connection which is pretty tedious at times. Otherwise I really enjoy this TV and 4 hdmi inputs is handy, I just wish it had 5 to be even better.

So far, I'm very happy with my new Insignia Roku 4K TV. The picture quality, while not nearly as good some of the higher end models I've seen, is excellent for the price. Setup was easy, and It only took a few minutes to figure out how to work it.

Product is excellent- picture crisp, color rendering excellent. Once I was able to connect the smart aspects, no problem maneuvering from one app to another. The directions neglect to inform you that you DO need to join ROKU - even if you do not require their apps.... This means inputting credit card info. Given the fact the TV is to be used w/ Apple TV only, giving out credit info is not necessary. I had to go back to Best Buy to ask one of their Magnolia experts to read thru the directions (to see if I was missing the info) to which he replied that I wasn't delusional. He then told me the steps to take....

I'm in love with this tv. Shows well, has the most apps I've ever seen for viewing tv, movies, and music videos. I also have a Vizio smart tv and it doesn't come close to this one. I don't even have cable hooked up to this one because any app you could imagine for viewing purposes is on this tv.

Hard to beat this for the price... 4KUltra combined with the Roku platform alone is an incredible value... Then add the super fast a/c Wi-Fi network card... This TV outstreams my other Smart Wi-Fi devices hands down !!! Way to Go Best Buy.

Relatively few issues with this 4K TV until the screen suddenly started flickering one night. Noticed that the bottom right corner had a black spot and ran super hot. Longevity of this TV is definitely nowhere near worth the cost of the hardware.

I bought this television earlier in the year and have been very happy with it. I was looking for an affordable option to add 4K to a smaller room and did a fair amount of research ahead of time trying to find the best option. I considered going with a model that offered HDR, but at the time, the only ones in the price range I was looking at seemed like gambles. The general consensus was that while they could play HDR content, they didn't quite meet the standards of the format. I ultimately decided on a TV that offered a larger screen, better features, and excellent reviews without the HDR. PRO: The picture quality is very good. Non-4K images look excellent and 4K looks tremendous as it should. Those looking for access to dozens of settings to tweak will be disappointed, but I've been very happy with the quality and have had no issues with flaws. The highlight is probably the integrated Roku interface. It's very simple to navigate, offers all the major streaming services, and allows a fair amount of customization, making it very simple to get to whatever service or input you're looking for. CON: My only significant gripe has been with the audio, which found to be very soft using only the built in speakers. Even in a small room with the TV close to a wall, I often had to raise the volume to near or at maximum to understand dialogue. A lot of factors can affect sound, but after trying to tweak every setting available, I needed to hook up an external sound system to get satisfactory sound. One minor complaint is about the remote control. I love the simplicity and it takes very little time to get comfortable with it, but for a remote with only 21 buttons, dedicating 4 of them to specific services, all of which cost money, seems odd, especially when you can't edit the settings to assign them to different services. I would also complain about the positioning of certain buttons. The audio options are on the side of the very small remote, so before I bought the sound system, I found myself accidentally muting the sound when picking up the remote on a regular basis. I have also interrupted a number of programs I was watching by accidentally hitting the buttons assigned to specific services, which is an annoyance.

I decided to upgrade from my 39 inch HD insignia to a 50 inch and this tv was newly added to the bestbuy online store so there were no reviews to go on prior. Overall a great Tv. Easy to use. Only flaw is that it may not have as many downloadable apps as Samsung and Vizio but overall still has Great 4k HD picture and loud speakers. Great for connecting phone to watch movies.

I came across this TV from an email about being on sale. Man was I glad I opened that email! You just cannot beat this TV for the features and price. Having the Roku features built in was a Plex dream. Love this TV! Man son keeps telling me to switch this one with our Samsung in our den!

As my title says it isnt the best in terms of quality, maybe with a higher refresh rate it would have been a bit better. Now in terms of features, size, sound, /'d so on let me tell you that this is the best priced, best looking, and overall best featured tv i have ever had the pleasure of owning. The roku is the best smart tv and its really amazing in this package. The worst thing i can say about it is that refresh rate locked at 60 and the quality just sucks compared to high end tvs but its amazing vs everything else at the price point. If you look at a tv that isnt 4k that is priced higher than this 4k then you are wasting your money because this is a direct comparison at 4k output.

I have nothing to say bad about this unit...its sharp, lightweight, set it up with ease and I'd put it up against better name brand sets anytime. My thought is since I have had their monitors for PCs in the past, why not try the TV? You really won't be disappointed in the purchase for the average home.

I recently 'cut the cord' and was looking for a large TV that would fit my space and meet my needs for streaming content. I looked at a number of brands and read a lot of reviews to find a TV that would meet my needs. The picture is crisp and clear and I love having the Roku built in - less connections and wires to manage! The remote is the Roku remote and is rather basic - that took a little getting used to - but I've since become accustomed to the interface. In fact, I'm a bit frustrated with my other TV that has an attached Roku - 2 remotes, less intuitive interface.... I bought the 55" set for $479. It's been great thus far.

This is by far one of the best SMART TV's I have ever purchased. There are so many pro's to name! If you are looking for a great, reliable, and fairly priced Smart TV, then this is the one for you! Not to mention the 4K is just jaw-dropping! The only con (I know, there's always one) is when connecting from a computer via wirelessly it sometimes doesn't connect and you have to go to the Settings and turn Mirroring off and then back on for it to connect.

TV slow on start up but for the money it was great buy. Excellent color and sound even without being connected to a stereo system. I would recommend this TV to anyone wanting a smart tv.

I bought this as an open box. I wasn't really impressed by the in-store staff. I asked where the stand was for the tv and they said that tvs now a days dont come with stands.... So I contacted insignia support and they shipped one to me free of charge. But this has nothing to do with the tv itself. I am extremely pleased with the tv. 370 dollars for a 50inch tv 4k uhd and built in roku. Cant go wrong there. I havnt had any issues with the tv thus far. I bought a 32 led insignia 7 years ago and its still flawless.

Let me start off by saying i am not a AV guru, i just like to watch tv on a clear screen and don't use all the funcitons or tuning. I like to get it out of the box, spend 1hr setting up and go. This TV does that. Built in ROKU is why i bought it, simple and full featured. Love the simplicity of the remote and ease of use. The 4k is definitely an upgrade from my 1080p units.
