Q: can I use this video cable on yellow red and white VCR & if so how do I hook it up ? Thank you
A: Component video cables are usually only used for dvd player video signals. you still need the red and white audio cable to output the sound from a dvd player. They don't output the video signal from a vhs player. if you have a dvd/vhs combo player you would need both sets of cables. The red white and yellow for the vhs and the red, blue and green for the dvd..You might be able to use the component cable if you used the red for the red and the blue for the white and the green for the yellow jacks. You would have to experiment with the cables to see what works.
Q: doe's this Insignia component video cable come in 50' length .
A: Component Video cables should not be longer than 16 feet or the signal quality will suffer.
