I recomeend this extension cable for use in Nintendo controller and I can play with my brother

I purchased these wires without knowing that they were compatible with both the NES and SNES classic editions. The addition of these wires make for a much more agreeable gaming experience. I understand developers were trying to recapture the glory of the nostalgia of sitting close to the tv when playing these games with the short wires on the manufacturers controllers. Problem is, TVs were not 32 inches + back in the 80s and 90s. The package comes with two wires, and is very reasonably priced.

If you are using your SNES Classic with a big screen TV, you will want these extension cables - unless you really like craning your neck to look up at your big screen TV because the controller cables are too short! Cables attached without problem and controllers work as expected - no glitches, no lags.

Great size for extending controller cable length. Great quality. No loss or lag when connected. Great addition to console.

Simple product and works as advertised. Have tested each cable with both NES mini and SNES mini without issue. Prefer wireless in the end. No good options here for NES wireless if you want an authentic-looking NES controller, but there's an Insignia-stamped SNES controller which almost looks authentic (bulky and look is a bit off) that does the job. But if your kids are past the point of yanking on the controller, and hence the whole cord and console, to make Mario further (most gamers started off there at some point), then wires work just fine and these are a welcome addition to the NES and SNES minis unless you want to sit 6 inches in front of a modern-sized television.

They are a must, if you own a mini Nintendo classic you need these. The quality on these are good no problems at all, no delays. The courts are extra long so you don’t have to worry about moving your Nintendo away from the TV. D they are a must, if you own a mini Nintendo classic you need these. Bought these extensions Christmas week for the NES Classic and they work as they're supposed to. Why Nintendo made their controller cable so short is beyond anybody's imagination. A simple observation, If you felt the need, you could also connect the two 6 footers together to make a 12 footer. I'd recommend, if you're needing something like these to solve Nintendo's short cable problem. Really can't beat it for 9 bucks for the two of them. Enjoy...

If you have or will be purchasing the NES Classic Edition gaming system, then you will definitely want to purchase these extension cables to go with it. The cable is VERY short on the NES controller itself, and unless you want to sit right in the tv screen, you will need an extension cable. The 6 foot length is very generous, relatively inexpensive and will make your gaming experience so much more enjoyable.

In the interest of full disclosure, this review is based on using the cords on the SNES Classic Edition and Wiiu's Wii mode. The cords themselves give extra length to the short cords on the SNES Classic Edition's controllers and the Wii Classic Controller. They do not have performance or lag issues, even when chained together to give extra length.

You'll need these so you're not sitting right up against the TV, especially since TVs are much larger and brighter than 30 years ago. Your mom told you that was bad. The NES Classic is especially troublesome with only 3 foot long cables. These give me the length to sit comfortably at a distance on the couch and play, though I still need to get up to hit the reset button to save state. Useful for the SNES Classic, too, despite its slightly longer 5 foot cable length. I use one cable for each of the two systems so I don't have to keep exchanging a single cable between them. No distinguishable signal delay or other performance penalties incurred by use. Well worth the price.

No frills or fuss with these cables, they do exactly what they say they do. They’re affordable, come in a set of two and there’s no downside to using them whatsoever, outside of more cable clutter in your living room. They work and they work well. Highly recommended if you insist on using the original controllers.

The only thing missing from the snes package was longer cords. Finding these allows me play in my bed instead of on the floor. They extend the controllers over 7 feet and there’s no lag in game play. If you don’t mind being corded then this is a way to go. May look into the wireless ones in the near future as well.

Grandson gifted NES Classic for Xmas. It came with a single controller with a short cord. As this caused him to sit very close to the tv screen, I bought these extension cords for him. He can now sit on the sofa and play the games. Works very well with the original Controller.

I've used these extensions with the original controller that came with the console as well as the Insignia controller. It paired well with both. No issues - just the glorious ability to reach my couch instead of sit on the floor and the realization of how old that makes me sound.

For only $10, and how TWO extenders are included, it's a must buy! The controller cords for the SNES Classic are a bit short, so buying this enabled me to be able to sit MUCH further away from the TV. Setup is a breeze, and it is compatible with the NES Classic. Two thumbs way up!

Despite the fact that one cord was a dud in the first box I bought, Best Buy made it hassle free, quick exchange in store and I got a new fully functional set. Both cords are exactly what I needed, and for the price, well worth the extra cord length and distance from the TV.

These extension cables are perfect. They give you enough length to set the console up by your TV, yet still be able to play from across the room. They are easy to hook up to the consoles. Definitely a must buy if you plan on getting the Super Nintendo or Nintendo.

I actually bought these extension cables to go along with my Christmas present for my fiance's dad who I bought a SNES classic for. These cables work exactly as expected, and didn't break the bank any more than my present buying did! I'm still broke, but they cables work! :)

This cable has saved my neck and back- literally. I purchased the SNES classic and needed to sit too close to my TV to be comfortable. With these cables, I can sit back comfortably and play. There is also no noticeable lag introduced from these cables thankfully.

While the new version of Super NES is absolutey great, the addition of the extra long cables is a must. The cables add that necessary added length so you don’t have to, practically, sit with your nose pressed against the screen. Connects easily and works perfectly.
