Q: If I am trying to record audio from a record player with stereo out to PC, will it work?
A: Probably...I have used a setup like that before and it worked. It was a long time ago though. It would depend on if the mic input on your PC was wired the same way, and it likely is. If you have a stanard 3.5mm aux cable, you could plug if into your phone or other audio source and PC and, if you get a signal, then it should work fine.
Q: Is this what I need to use my echodot to listen to music with my non-bluetooth stereo?
A: If you have to mate a device with a small stereo jack and RCA plugs, this is the way to do it.

A: See what your receiver signal output plug is first. Many are usually RCA out. If your speakers are RCA input then you will need two separate cables that are male RCA on both ends. Order two cables with an extra 5 feet of length each so you are sure to have enough length to adjust speaker position. Good luck.

A: I don’t think these would be the right cables for this application.
Q: Can i connect my rca dvd player to hdmi tv with this cord?
A: Only if your "hdmi tv" has analog inputs for red/yellow/white.---- in my case, the "headphone" output accepted the single black cord and the red and white completed the ANALOG connection. HDMI is digital only. If your "rca dvd player" has a HDMI connection you can use it.
