I had to purchase this item, for my new home, cuz, where the builder had placed my internet and security center was inside a closet. Which was not conducive to where all my various communication equipment items to be reached. I have a portable landline with message machine; clear caption reader; alexxa; internet; & a home security system. I needed a replacement cord, which my old one was working well, even, with a splitter. Funny how, trying to locate older items can be hard to locate in brick n mortar stores these days. My Best Buy, had a shorter one, but, I already had one, I wanted this length and color. So, I ordered online, received quickly, on time, and with other items, and ALL were ACTUALLY what I needed!!! I was very satisfied!!! I go to Best Buy when I need any technical support!!!
