A "NerdyGirl" posted, this DOES work with Windows 7 EVEN THOUGH THE PACKAGING SAYS IT DOESN'T. I am an industrial engineer and I am using this on my personal Xeon workstation. This is FANTASTIC news if you can't stand or hate Windows 10. You just need to download the proper Windows 7 compatible Bluetooth driver. I am very happy with my purchase of this item. It has allowed me to use my bluetooth ear buds with my pc. For some reason the bluetooth built into my pc will allow connection but the audio was only heard when I put the earbuds about an inch from the keyboard of my laptop, around the 7 key. I asked a Best Buy associate about this and he stated something might be wrong with the chip and to try this adapter. It took me awhile to get it to work because I didn't realize that I needed to go in to device manager and disable the bluetooth inside the pc. But once I got that figured out, it works great. I really like that it is small and fits right next to the adapter for my mouse. I can just leave it in and it is not in the way when using or moving my laptop around.

Needed Bluetooth to transfer pics from camera & phone to laptop. Win10, plugged it in, system found & installed, works flawlessly since.

This is a great Bluetooth adapter. Very easy to set up and connects every Bluetooth device so easily. Strong connection and works as it should.

Plug the dongle in first. If Windows can see the device but cannot find the driver for it, do this: Start > settings > update & security > windows update > view optional updates > driver updates > "Broadcom Corporation driver update for Micro size usb to Bluetooth Dongle"

I was worried about this working but, for the price, i decided to give it a try. I followed the suggestions in other reviews and it worked great. It did tell me the driver was not installed, i went to the update window in settings and "viewed optional updates" told it to download and install and now it works just as it should.

I had trouble finding the drivers for it and ended up using broadcom drivers. It works pretty well once you have it set up! When I contacted customer support about how I couldn't find the drivers and the customer support guy tried to sell me geek squad support. All I was asking for was the url!

Very functional, easy to install and will allow you to link all your devices to your smart tv

I'm not sure if it's my older computer or the adapter, but I cannot keep a reliable connection for very long. The adapter's drivers frequently stop working, and I lose connection to paired Bluetooth devices. However, when it works, the adapter is excellent. Unfortunately, I reverted to wired headphones, instead of my wireless set, for all of my computer gaming.

I have so many Bluetooth items.. I couldn't use any with my Desktop PC... Not any more! Our older laptops and my desktop all have Bluetooth now. It was at a good price, too. No need to buy a new laptop or PC, yet.... Thanks, Best Buy!

Mouse, Headphones, Keyboard and speakers connected and stayed connected when ever I turn on my computer. I strongly recommend. Oh PS. I do not work for Best Buy. Just my honest opinion on this blue tooth dongle.

Does what it's supposed to. I use this to connect my wireless headphones to my PC. Very easy to set up and use.

Rocks right out of the box! I built a new gaming tower this summer and was considering a Bluetooth PCI card when I found this beauty at a Cincinnati Best Buy. No need to tie up a motherboard slot, and the USB approach is seamless. Great audio for my headphones and increased productivity when file-sharing among laptop and Android devices. Way faster than my wired LAN connections regardless of the file type. I love this thing!

Best Buy no longer supports this item so you will not be able to download the drivers/software you need to properly install this Bluetooth adapter. Thanks to a trip out of the country (for work) I missed the return deadline and now I’m stuck with it. If you want to try it without wasting your money, contact me. You’ll encounter the same dead end issues I faced (and a huge online community that also made the mistake of purchasing this product)

It will not install on Windows 10 and no drivers are provided by the manufacturer. Tried on multiple Windows 10 machines. Don't waste your time.
