This alarm clock is a great buy. It has a dim switch on the time so you can have the time dimmed at night for better sleeping.. the clock is small enough to sit on nightstand by the bed. The alarm will awaken you but the bright digital light can be dimmed to your desire.

This clock has been great. I bought for the bedroom because waking up frequently I have a habit of picking up the cellphone and checking the time and that leads to phone screen keeping me up and being on social media. Now I can glance and the green light and avoid my phone for a better sleep. I like how it came with a set of double AA batteries for the backup in the event of power outage. I had a hard time finding this kind of clock until BestBuy. Highly recommend but I don’t use for radio or alarm currently

Best Buy doesn’t carry our preferred Panasonic alarm clock, so we went with Insignia, instead. To our disappointment, it doesn’t have weekday/weekend alarm settings, so we have to remember to turn off the alarm on Friday mornings so it doesn’t go off at 6 am on the weekend. On Sunday night, we have to remember to turn it back on. It’s a huge pain. Our Panasonic, which we had for more than 10 years, had the convenient weekday only setting, which was perfect! We’re going to see if we can return it for a click that suits our needs, or else donate it.

Great clock, just what I wanted to tell time at night when I'm sleeping. I'm still trying to figure out how to use all the controls as it's a little complicated and I'm not to good at all the new contraptions.

Everything works well. Programming the radio stations is kind of tough, at least on my alarm, though. I followed the manual, but it still gave me trouble.

Good clock for viewing time in night. Its a simple clock with sensible controls. No Wifi and other unnecessary features. Even doesnt have Daylight saving feature. In a overly connected world, these kind of clocks stand out.

Product is easy to maneuver, it’s clear and easy to find the stations.

So easy to use and a great way to go to wake up at the times you need to sometimes more than once a day without setting the alarm back and forth and so much bigger than the old one easier to use

We purchased this to replace one that wasn't working properly so far it works well the alarm works good and it keeps the time perfectly we've had no issues with it and very happy with the purchase.

This Insignia Alarm/Clock brought me back to my teenage years. The size, the numbers on the display and switches perfectly resemblance the old fashion digital clock era. I like the fact that the designers choose the green color. In the past it used to be red or blue or even white but green is less painful if you are half asleep and want to see the time at night, plus the 4 level dimmer that you can adjust. I like the premise which is promoting, to keep away from your phone while going bed to get rest. We have become so dependent of the cell phones, constantly checking the messages, emails, reading the news, that at least one function that we can still isolate is this clock, the alarm function which will for sure give some peace of mind. I don’t know if it is because I have had this kind of Alarm/Clock in the past, but the operation and setup was extremely easy. I didn’t need to look for the user manual to set up the time, alarm, or to preset the radio stations. It has FM and AM radio selector switch, and you can preset up to 20 stations. On the outside it is a good looking radio/clock. It’s very light weight with big display numbers. Operationally speaking, it has 2 alarms that can be set. The alarm sound can be set either for standard buzz alarm or radio source. To turn the radio on or off just press the volume dial and adjust the volume level. The Tune +/-buttons will work for 2 different functions, while you set the clock time, or by selecting the radio stations. You can set up the timer from 90min to 60, 45, 30 or 15 using the sleep button. There is also the Snooze/Dimmer button to mute for 10min. You can snooze as many times within the hour of the time the alarm was set. To turn off the alarm just keep the button pressed. It has one speaker, enough to accomplish its main purpose which is to perform as a Clock/Alarm, so don’t expect stereo or HD sound. It also comes with 2 AAA batt only to keep the settings saved in case of a power outage. You will need to keep the power connected in order to make it work. I have placed it on my nightstand, and plan to keep my cell phone away while getting ready to go to sleep. If you are looking for an Alarm/Clock to keep you less dependable of your cell phone, this is a very affordable good looking clock/radio that does exactly what it was design to do, give time and alarm.

I suppose that the days of the traditional “clock radio” are past, but I still prefer a simple device that can wake me with a music or news station, and this little gem fits the bill. It’s small and light but could be said to be “as big as it needs to be.” The display is certainly large enough, and its brightness can be adjusted to show up well in the daytime and dim to where it’s not distracting at night. Unpacking it led to a surprise in that it comes with two AAA batteries that provide backup in the event of a power failure. Another welcome surprise is that it comes with printed instructions that are clear and concise, and I had no trouble understanding how it works and was able to easily set it up properly. Instead of plugging directly into a wall socket, it comes with a power brick that plugs in and there is a thin wire leading to the connector that’s inserted to power it up. Using a thin wire lets them make it longer than the typical power cord, so locating it at a distance from the nearest outlet might be possible. The radio is tuned by selecting the AM or FM band and using the +/- buttons to move up and down in frequency. Holding the button down lets it scan for the next station. At any time, you can use a button to add the current station to a list of presets. Preset stations can then be recalled by pressing the same button; this is a feature not common on a radio at this price point. Radio reception appears to be pretty good. I like to wake to a local AM news station and my old clock radio really had trouble tuning it in and staying locked on; so far, this one has been much better. The sound is also good for a device this size, although definitely not in audiophile territory. The alarm features are what you might expect. Two separate alarms can be set, each with a choice of waking to an alarm buzz or the radio, as well as the volume level, and of course there’s a snooze button. Overall, this product is a good bargain for what you get!

I finally found something that isn’t connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi! I love simple and straightforward electronics, and this Insignia Alarm Clock fits that description perfectly. The setup out of the box is incredibly easy, and the instructions are simple to follow. The size of the alarm clock is great and very visible at night. There are four dimmer settings, which is perfect for people who have trouble sleeping with any light on. You can set up two alarms at once, and each can wake you up to your favorite radio station or an old-school alarm sound. I particularly love the radio function because it reminds me of my childhood when I'd fall asleep listening to oldies on the radio, it's just awesome! Sometimes, the simple things in life are all you really need. There’s also a sleep option, which turns the clock off after a predetermined amount of time that you choose. The power cord is long enough to place the clock anywhere, and the antenna cable is also extended, providing better reception. Where I live, it works well, and all my favorite stations come in clearly with no static. The speaker is located on the back of the clock, and in my opinion, it sounds great. Another excellent feature is the battery backup, which ensures you won’t lose your saved settings if it gets unplugged accidentally. Keep in mind that this alarm clock only functions with a power cord; the backup batteries are solely for preserving time and settings. Overall, this is a fantastic product that works really well!
