Not too much to say about this product, other than it works great. My computer tower came with 4 display ports and one HDMI. I have 2 monitors that are only HDMI... and there lies the problem. Alas! problem solved. This adapter plugs right into a display port, then an HDMI is then connected to the adapter and the screen. Screen now displays what it needs to. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs it, or they wont be able to view what's on the computer screen. Solid product, solid build, solid no wiggle connection.

i have a bunch of hdmi cables and 4 monitors to hook up to my computer, i just upgraded to a 1080 geforce card which is great, but it only has 1 hdmi out and i needed 3, it now uses these data ports... will instead of paying more for a data to hdmi cable i got this one and it still sends audio out to the monitors sand everything!
Great product. Worked immediatley out of the box. No drivers to install.

Used with my r7 series video card because for my 3 monitor setup one monitor had to be hooked up via display port. This solved that problem perfectly.

Working from home presented its challenges. I use a docking station for my laptop and had purchased a monitor, however the monitor would not work unless was plugged directly into the laptop. In discussing this with my IT Department they suggested to purchase an Display Port to HDMI Adapter. I quickly checked availability on several sites and found Best Buy to have stock available at a good price so I ordered it right away. It was actual delivered a day earlier than expected.

i didn’t know this thing existed until I needed it. Now I have it and can’t live without it. I don’t know what it’s called but it works and I have no complaints this far.

Would be 5 stars but no similar items to price match?

It was dented on my second time using it, no longer functional. Nothing improper was done to abuse it or cause the issue.

All these different kinds of video connections behind pc. Grrrr. Grabbed a DVI cable and this display port connection just in case. Couldn't pass it up since it was an open pkg and heavily discounted. The main reason I got it was for a backup. Works good.

Needed this to be able to run dual monitors on my new laptop. Works perfect and I even found an open box one to save a little money. Great choice if you need to use cables you already have.

Bought a brand new computer for my son for Christmas. It needed this cord to hook up to his two monitors. Worked perfectly. Easy connection. Very good price.

I bought a new Dell and wanted to hook up 2 HDMI 24" monitors to it and the Dell only has Display Port connectors on the on-board video. I was going to order the adapters from Dell but I figured I would give 2 of these a shot since they were cheaper and I could pick them up at my local Best Buy. They work great with Windows 10 without any drivers and I have been running them continually from day. No problems whatsoever!

I have a refurbished HP 6300 PRO with a video card I put in and had to add a 2nd monitor to work from home. Couldn't get the monitors to display like I wanted so got this adapter and took out the video card to use the desktops video. Hooked one monitor to VGA port and the other to the Display port with this adapter which resulted in being able to control the monitors the way I wanted them to work. This is a great adapter to use if you have a Display port on your computer.

I am glad you choose to read my review. Please understand that I am writing this review to help you decide if you really need this adapter and not to make you feel dumb. This is a Display Port to HDMI adapter, and NOT and HDMI to HDMI adapter. This is not a misprint. There is a big difference between a Display Port connector and an HDMI connector. Most recent Dell computers and not their laptops may ship with a Display Port video connector and this is a good reason to buy this adapter. Some HP workstation desktop computers will also have a Display Port video out adapter, and if you have one, this is another good reason to purchase this adapter. If you have a computer with an HDMI video out connector, then do not buy this adapter, because it will not and should not work for you. The difference between an HDMI video connector and a Display Port connector is huge, mostly electrically and in one corner of the connector physically different. I admit this was probably overlooked when the Display Port connector was invented, but you compare them side by side you will see and feel the difference. Display port video out connectors support up to four different video signaling standards, and HDMI video connectors support only one. This is the reason they used a different connector that has never been used in the past. It had to be done differently because it is a different standard.

it works its not a thing you mess with all the time once it in you dont mess with it. i have this installed on a EVGA 2070 super black to a cheapo hp hd monitor with a 30 foot thin as #### cheap hdmi cable and its working along side two 4 k tv monitors a 65" sony and a samsung 45"and a quest 2 all plugged in at the same time. i dont see a much worse case sceniro for this thing not to work but it works. i do see artifacts red pixels in the black of the , did i mention cheapo hp monitor with the 30 foot long 1/8 inch in diameter hdmi wire, yeah that thing, well i think it is from the five power stripps the hdmi is laying on as it travels under my bed 7 feet away from the PC, not the display port to hdmi adapter. There was another thing, it did not plugin all the way at first (and niether did the usb c) after some searching it was an issue with nvidia cards and nzxt cases making the card too close to the side blabla plugs dont seat with out some recentering card or reseating motherboard or bending of case slot edges etc.... anyways this adapter is a verified no cussing at product reviewed by the TwistedMonk

Easy to use, and very well priced. It is small enough that you can carry it anywhere
