I would not consider myself an audiofile by any means but I really try to aim for products that give me a good, full sound for listening to music and watching movies and shows. I bought two of the speakers to use as a stereo system but also as a makeshift home theater system. I could not be more satisfied with the speakers. Versus my TV speakers watching movies is like I’m in a movie theater as for me it produces room filling sound when stereo paired. For fairness sake I don’t believe it can be a full replacement for a home theater system but I think it’s a great way to get started in that for a relatively inexpensive cost. I have them paired to my Apple TV. I also use the speakers for listening to music and working out on the go. It really helps me hear my workout music better and the fact that the battery life is so long means I can almost go a week straight without needing to charge them since the battery life lasts about 40 hours per speaker.

So bought this to take to beach. Connected as soona I got home. Sounds good and easy to pair. Also have insignia Bluetooth adapter with the use of my 5.1 receiver for my shed. I get into trouble with neighbors and wife. So that is a good thing in my book. If you want to take control of sound effects go through phone settings or app settings. So far super happy. P.S. get extended warranty just in case.

I actually give it 4.5 stars. It works great, but the only issue I have is the you can't see the buttons on the top of the speaker if you're in a lower light setting. You have to treat the buttons like brail. Otherwise, it sounds good and is easy to connect. It also definitely has good volume in case you need it to be louder. Overall, I'm happy with it.

First two times using the speaker were great, 0 complaints. During my third use my girlfriend dropped it and it feel off my balcony and proceeded to fall a total of 11 stories. That’s 110 feet for those who don’t know. It feel in a grassy by the pool which was closed till morning. The next morning I walked up to it to find it soaking wet but intact. The speaker works just fine and only a minor scratch on the back. I highly recommend this speaker and now all insignia products.

For its modest size, this device kicks out a pretty big sound. It is easy to understand how to pair it up and to operate. A friend had a similar one, which gave me the inspiration to get this one. But this Insignia blows it away.
