Was in need of a new remote for an older Samsung HD tv. After checking the price of an OEM remote and researching 3rd party remotes, I decided to go with this Insignia remote. Glad I did. The remote works just fine with the older tv and was easy to set up. Granted it doesn't have all of the functions of the original remote (sleep timer) but for the price, it can't be beat. All of the other functions work just fine.

I think I got this on clearance so the price was great and it works with all the different tv's that I have at home. I would recommend this remote. It has pretty much everything you would need. Very easy to set up, especially if you know the codes.

We set this up for use with the bedroom TV, which has a built-in DVD player but also has an attached cable box. It worked perfectly on the TV/DVD side pretty much right out of the package, and setting it up for the cable box was fast and easy. It comes with a handy easy guide that is especially simple when pairing with electronics from the biggest names (which are given single-number shortcuts), though there are also extensive code lists included for a lot of smaller name manufacturers/providers as well. Granted, the system we are using it for is far more simple than many out there, but our experience was nice and smooth and done in a few minutes. The biggest struggle was getting the remote out of the package.

I bought this from Bestbuy store. Bestbuy sales person wanted me to go with the 34$ (RCA remote) as he was more confident on that option to work with Samsung. On this remote, you will not see written on the cover that it works with Samsung. It just says on the cover that it works with all major TV's, sound bar,DVR's etc. I had tried it today and it worked just fine. I had to do following steps: 1.Switch on the TV 2. Click on the power button of the remote 3. Click on the setup button of the remote 4. Wait for the LED on the remote to blink twice 5. I tried the SAMSUNG TV codes given in the instructions. I believe 2nd or 3rd of the code worked just fine for me.

I wanted a cheap remote that works with my 10 year old Vizio, and that's exactly what I got with this. The instructions could be improved with a little troubleshooting, but thankfully I figured it out. It tells you to stop the programming once your TV turns off, and that's it. My TV turned off after the first programming test, but then some of the buttons weren't working. So I re-did programming and didn't stop until the 2nd flash - then it was perfect!

This remote was priced just right, it's easy to use, It's slim so it fits nicely in your hand and its light weight

Needed replacement remote for Insignia TV so decided to get the 3 device to work older Blu-ray player and stereo system. Setup was so simple, used the auto-connect function on all 3 devices with no issues. Everything works on each device the way it supposed to. Buttons are big enough, well labeled and spaced well for big fingers. Works way better than other universal remotes that I have tried in the past.

I've always had problems with universal remotes, especially generics, but this one works perfectly for what I need. We have 2 TVs with missing remotes and this was a great solution for both. Set up was a breeze, buttons are easy to read and press, and the remote is lightweight but sturdy (after being dropped a few times from 3 feet onto tile floor). Definitely glad I gave Insignia brand a chance.

I use it for my 4K TV, Spectrum Cable Box, and an Apple TV 4K. Everything works great with the remote. It was very easy to setup the remote using the codes supplied with the user manual. Volume is set to access the Yamaha Receiver. Everything just works and that's a good feeling to not have to pick up 3 remotes to use with 3 different devices.

the remote works as intended. no problems. i chose to manually program it from the code list. i had to try two or three before all the buttons worked but that is to be expected. also it is half the price of the LG remote and works just as well.

Original remote on old 1993 Sanyo TV wore out. This Insignia universal remote works perfect. Worked on old DVD Philips player as well and my Xbox One. Easy to program and has all the codes for all brands inside package. Ordering another one today.

Put the batteries in, wait a few seconds, and it works. No fuss or muss. Perfect! I'm so glad that I spent these few dollars just to have a remote for my television again. It also works on my DVR & Blu-Ray player.

We bought this universal remote for our son. Set up was easy and quick. The size and configuration of the buttons make for comfortable use. He's used several universal remotes, over time, and says he likes this one the best.

Setup was a snap, found the TV (VIZIO M) right off the back, haven't had an issue yet. Perfect if you just need something simple and not relying on it to run an entire exclusive home theater setup.

The remote that came with my insignia TV got wet so I bought this one. It works my blue ray, sound bar and TV. If watching Netflix and I want to pause it, pressing the pause button doesn't pause. The play button does. Other buttons are weird like that as well. You have to figure out the buttons by using it. I got it at a great price so it's a minor thing for the money. At full price I would have returned it.

Excellent for the price. Can use smart TV menu and switch back to cable box. Lost original smart remote too tiny. This is a good size and was on sale. Get it while it lasts!

I had a $25 gift card to Best Buy and didn't want to spend a whole lot on a new remote control to replace a broken Vizio TV remote and hopefully combine control of Amazon Fire TV (for Playstation Vue streaming) and Vizio sound bar. Guess what--it worked! I entered the code for the TV, and the sound bar, and they worked. I was skeptical about being able to do the Amazon Fire, but amazingly enough I didn't have to do anything! It just worked. And this was one of the cheaper replacement remotes in the store. So for simplicity of setup and for actually doing what I needed it to do, I give it give stars. The low price was just a bonus.

Easy to follow directions to make the remote compatible with the Dish Network. Large buttons make it easy to see the numbers and other labels.

Works as it should, not too difficult to set up. Would have been nice to have batteries included.
