Liked that it fits with most of the cameras. The settings are simple to use. Shuttle hold is easy. The only downside is it doesn’t have a on/off switch. You have to take out batteries to turn it off completely.

I would recommend reading about the types of cables provided and making sure it matched your camera make and model. Nifty device, take a little trial and error to make it work but it does the job. Have taken a few time lapses and all have turned out well.

Does everything suggested AND more! I WAS surprised how versatile the device was. More features than I plan to use. -1 star for only issue is NO on/off switch, you have to remove the battery. Odd... Oh well, small issue.

This i terval timer works great for our Sony A6000 camera for custom or long exposure photography. My only concern is having to take out the batteries every time I store it because there is not off switch. Who designs amything battery operated without either an off timer or off switch?

The Insignia - Universal Wired Digital Interval Timer is a great buy! It is fast, reliable, easy to use, and it is interchangeable among the three most important camera brands (Canon, Nikon, and Sony.)

I have only personally used this twice. Worked great both times. I bought this for my brother's camera. He likes it as well. Only downside is that you have to remove the batteries to shut it off. No power switch. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Works great very handy. Best for time lapse. Looked on line at reviews. Glad I went to Best Buy staff was knowledgeable

I would have given it 5 stars but there isn’t an on off switch. You need to remove the batteries when your not using it.

I bought this mainly for the time-lapse features and astrophotography, but this remote is also a real treat because I use both Sony and Nikon. the wires screw into the remote and remains snugged. The length of the wires are sufficient, and the build feels good. My only beef is that in order to turn off the remote, you have to remove the batteries. There is no on/off switch and it does not go into a sleep mode. Other than that, it's an excellent product!

Super user friendly, did exactly what I wanted. I needed to have pictures taken every 15 seconds without having to stand behind the camera. The interval timer was perfect, never had to change the battery during the 6 hour photo session. I was able to do other necessary things without having to babysit the camera OR have errors such as human hand movements that would have made the pictures slightly off from each other.

It worked as advertised. Definitely needed for night time photography.

This is a simple and straight forward product. However, I am writing this to inform you that this product DOES NOT work with the new Nikon Camera that Best Buy sells (D3400 etc). Sadly that is the camera I bought along with this product so I will most likely be downgrading the camera body in the near future.

This is my first camera remote control and so far I really like it. I haven't used it very much but one feature that I really like, and the only one I have used so far, is the trigger. It's great that you don't have to have batteries in the remote in order to use it this way. I don't like leaving batteries in something when it isn't going to be used for awhile so this is a great feature.

Bought this to use with Sony A99. Unfortunately it is not compatible. I searched to see if it was, and found nothing. I decided to purchase to find out for myself. Best Buy's return process was fluid and painless!

Does what I need, takes a bit to get use to the settings.

Even though my Nikon 7200 has the same features, this is a simpler option. It is plug in and go. Being able to start, change or, stop on the controls off of the camera keeps the camera steady.

I needed an interval timer so I could take astrophotography photos and this works like a charm. Not only that, I can use it to create time lapses as well.

Great mechanical shutter release for the camera. No menus needed, just plug it in and shoot. I prefer wired shutter releases like this.
