Even in the digital age, the journey of creating memorable images doesn't stop after the shutter is clicked. Once the photos are taken the task to move them from camera to computer is necessary but often time-consuming and a little clumsy. A capable card-reader is the missing link to insure that the files make the trip safely. What I've found is that most (if not all) of the card readers seem to be a generation or more behind the best available read/write speeds. Which is why I am giving this USB-C reader 5 Stars. It has read my SD cards and Micro SD cards in record time. Having had multiple card readers over the years has given me a sense of which ones work better once they-re connected. One more interesting item to mention. The slot for MicroSD cards is made just for the small card. That means that you do not need the SD Card "wrapper." This card reader will read those micro cards directly. (See photos.) I definitely recommend this.

Easy to use. Handy that fits in my purse if I want to take it with me. I love that I always have stotage in my phone and no need to delete what I have, just transfer them.

Does it's job, great transfer speed. Can't complain! I appreciate the small indicator light on the side, that lets you know when the card is actively still transferring data.

I like the little pig tail so it doesn't stick out from the laptop as some others do. Also nice is the micro card clicks in so you know it is properly inserted. It is just plug and play on my MacBook Air.

Works well. The grandchildren were able to use this and understand the easy to follow directions. It’s a well-made product so hopefully it will last a very long time. It is important that it is cost friendly.

Amazing for such a simple device. No one in my home has a laptop that takes sd cards anymore, talk about going backwards. This connects to my and my partners laptop, AND it connects to my cellphone so if I feel like I need to unload my photos to my phone or want to use the ai features on my Samsung cell I can work on the go!!

I enjoy using this digital USB to Slot Card reader. It lets me download photos from my phone and then upload them to my laptop. It is easy to use! I store this and the photo "card" in an old eyeglasses case for easy retrieval.
