I have a laptop which I am always taking places. But, when at home, it is a secondary computer. I bought this keyboard for two reasons, 1) because it connects via USB and not a wireless protocol, 2) it is not battery powered. All wireless protocols are disabled on my laptop. Battery powered keyboard are always running low on battery power (especially when you have not used it in a while and need to use it quickly). Additionally,on the laptop's built-n keyboard, I am always accidentally placing my fingers on the pad -resulting in the cursor moving from where I expect it to be. Bottom Line - a good, inexpensive keyboard which works 100% of the time.

Was looking for a good Keyboard and Mouse, that too want to be wired one only since it will be handy during travelling(no need to search for batteries), found this combi and bought it instantly which works like a charm with my MAC or Windows Laptop to extend and work(safe guard for my default keyboard/track pad)

This keyboard and mouse set rocks! It's easy to navigate through the keys, ready access to shortcuts. It's slim design is great for saving space and the overall look of the product screams "I'm in the office!" I love it, and I'm looking forward to other purchases from Best Buy...You guys rock!!!!! Thank you.

These are wired units which I bought to replace wireless units which I had nothing but trouble with. They work just fine from the moment I hooked them up. Cheap too.

I bought this to use with my laptop so I could work/type more easily at home. It's a great value, easy to plug and use, and has made life easier. The only downside is that the keyboard doesn't have any USB inputs so when used at once they take up two USB inputs on your device, which in my case means unplugging the mouse every time I need to use my flash drive since my foot pedal is using the remaining input.

The Keyboard and Mouse work great. Mouse registered by BIOS on first boot. Keyboard on second, but that's probably because it's an older motherboard and it was looking for the keyboard on the PS/2 port instead of USB. They work exactly as they should, no problems whatsoever. Plus the cables are a nice length and the mouse has a scroll wheel. So great for the price.

Needed some mice and keyboards for some older computers I refurbished. These came in at a great price of 7.99 when I bought them. (ordered three sets) For the price point they work as expected. Recommended if you need a simple mouse and keyboard that just work.

If you're looking for a very basic mouse and keyboard, this is it. It does the trick at a great price. They are wired and I actually preferred that rather than the wireless where I have to be concerned about batteries all the time.

This is an ok keyboard and mouse for the price. However, one of the stands that support the keyboard broke so i can't use it. However they are both functional and there is no lag issue. Would recommend anyone who is looking for a simple wired mouse and keyboard.

I bought this mouse and keyboard for my first pc build and even though I have not used them heavily or very long, they work great and I would recommend this mouse and keyboard to anyone to get.

It cost very little (I got it on sale as well) and works like it's supposed to. If you just need a basic keyboard and mouse, this'll do the job for you. I haven't used the mouse much, but the keyboard is functional.

I was very frustrated with the wireless mouse & keyboard that I was using--skipping or making a trail of repeat characters. This new Insignia mouse/keyboard set works great and was reasonably priced and easy to connect.

I Needed a larger keyboard than the one on my laptop and this one fit the bill. It was a good price and also came with an optical mouse, so it was an easy purchase. recommended.

Love the keyboard, mouse on the other hand was not the greatest. Red light shines through front of the mouse and reflects off my screen/wall. Can't complain for the price for both though!

This item only cost me a couple of bugs but it was better than the one that I actually spend a lot of money for

I had an old Pentium die on me and I decided to bring it back to life these items solved all my windows XP issues that needed to find the keyboard and mouse

Works as expected. Nothing fancy here. No batteries to worry about. Good for basic computing. (Web surfing, basic typing, & solo gaming.)
