This remote works exactly how it should, great for portraits or photos were the camera has to be still and untouched, I bought it for night photography and couldn’t be any happier

I take pictures and self portraits on my own, so when I invested in a lens that needed to be pretty far away in order to focus, I knew I needed a remote. This remote works perfectly. There is no delay, and it is small enough to store in any camera case or pocket. Getting the landyard/loop attatched is difficult, but that is such a small concern. I love this remote.

Good price, but works quite well. Good Value. I thought it would be cheap but gave it a try. It was easy to setup on my Nikon D750 camera, and works like a charm. Great buy.

Easy to use, great price, eliminates the need to use the camera's timer

This is cheap and works flawlessly with Nikon cameras. No need to spend extra $ on the nikon branded one. I have had this about a month and used it several times with my D5200. No problems. The range is not amazing but it is good. Probably 30 feet easily. One bit of advice, if you want to be in picture, set your shutter release to 2s delayed remote so that you don't get a picture of yourself pointing the remote at the camera.

This control is great for travel. I really enjoyed being able to take pictures of my wife and I on our trip. This made it so much more convenient than having to ask people to take pictures of us. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because you kind of have to be at a certain angle in order for it to sensor the control.

I needed a wireless remote so that I could tripod mount my D3200 and take closeup hummingbird pictures without spooking them. I found that Best Buy had the Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote at my closest store location and confirmed. When I arrived, there were none in stock. The rep suggested the Insignia remote which turned out to have a useful range listed as almost twice the Nikon. I decided it was cheap enough to try, so I bought it and used it immediately for the birds. Fantastic. My only issue is that it doesn't provide for activating remote video. No big deal, but it would be great. I also used it to eliminate camera shake the next night shooting the Perseid meteor shower. Again, great. I like it so much that I have attached it by lanyard directly to the camera strap so that I always have it available. I would say that this remote may not be essential, but when the need arises, for under $20, its a fabulous tool to have already added to your kit.

This remote is great. I'm a photography novice and bought this remote to set-up a photo booth at a holiday party to allow people to take their own pictures. Single button, don't even need to point directly at the camera, just at an angle. So it won't make you have to pose while pointing at the camera. The only issue to keep in mind is that your camera may require a built menu option selected in order to use the remote. I have a Nikon D5000, and I had to switch the shutter option to remote mode first.

Highly recommend! Im always on the run to the nearest waterfall to capture that long exposure and love having something small and easy to use to get no camera shake from hands on shutter release which can lead to a blurry image.

The design of this shutter remote is simple and sleek. The remote connected easily with my Nikon d3400 and is a great DSLR accessory.

Overall, this remote is a relatively good deal. It was very simple to learn to use. We were able to program a 2 second delay between pressing the button and taking the picture, which allows time to drop the remote so it's not visible in the shot. When pressing the button, the remote has to have a line of sight to the camera, so the delay is essential.

I recently took a trip solo. Shutter control come very handy. Very easy to use. Instructions aren't very clear for a beginner but I looked online and there are plenty of videos on how to set it up. Price and quality are excellent.
The remote was easy to install and use with good connection even in the trees. I found the price to be ideal.

Working with my D3400. Sometimes have to point it toward the camera. But works only for pictures and not for videos.

I was worried this model wouldn't be compatible with my camera but it works great with my Nikon. It makes taking photos so much easier than attempting to use the timer. I highly recommend!

I bought this hoping to use it with my D3500. It is not compatible. It's not compatible with the D5600 either. This is an IR remote and Nikon removed the IR sensor from the D3500. So before you buy it, make sure your camera has an IR sensor. For remote shutter, they want you to use the SnapBridge app. Which works OK.
