Amazing Processor. Faster than the 8th gen I switched from. PCIe gen 4 is super fast. Goes well with ASUS Mother Boards.

The CPU scores 92nd Percentile with 25000+ on CPU Mark Performance Test. Very fast and reliable. It was my first time Installing an intel CPU which is a bit more trickier than AMD cpus but it was still easy. Using it with a Hyper212 cooler, this thing stays nice and cool. Pricier than AMD counterpart.

Works great for my gaming rig. Runs all games with 2080ti at 4k with no bottleneck.

Great processor chip. I get 30 more fps than my I7 8700. This chip will last me the next 5 years at least. Will be able to play triple A games on near max settings.

Got this back in SEP 2021, when i built my new PC, RTX3080, 32 GB of ram, 3TB pf storage, NZXT kraken Z73… lemme tell you this is one heck of a build i did… the CPU can handle literally any game!… except crysis 3 0-0 hahaha… but for real, its really good… no issues still till this day.

Bought this about 5 years ago and has been working perfectly fine.

works great with my newest build. cant go wrong with intel.

Solid no issues. Works great with my 3070 very little to no bottle neck. Would recommend

Super fast!!! Make sure you have proper cooling as this thing runs hot, here is my set up to get these temps

When building your PC from scratch, there are always bugs and bios settings to adjust for optimal performance. Once you get all the bugs out performs as expected. 4.8ghz all core load with temps never above 60c @ 1.3v TEAM BLUE ALL THE WAY

Upgraded from a i5-7600 to this and I haven’t looked back

Clear markings on the chip make it easy to install. I used it with a Z590 motherboard with gen 4 capabilites. Not quite as fast as a rysen 5800X but it's close. Never had any problems with intel.

Coming from a 8700k its a huge difference. Slowly upgrading my pc little by little

Great CPU, perfect pair for my GTX 3060 Ti. Does not include a cpu fan but that’s perfectly fine. You can just buy a separate, maybe even better cpu fan

After two years of pushing the Intel Core i7-11700K to its limits, I can confidently say that it has been an absolute powerhouse. The **8-core, 16-thread** configuration has handled everything I've thrown at it, from intensive gaming sessions to demanding productivity tasks. Performance: The 11700K has consistently delivered top-notch performance. Whether I'm editing videos, compiling code, or running complex simulations, this CPU has not skipped a beat. It's also kept up with the latest games, providing smooth and immersive experiences. Overclocking: For enthusiasts like me, the overclocking potential has been a delight. I've been able to safely push the frequencies to achieve even better performance, and the 11700K has remained stable and reliable throughout. Durability: After two years, the processor is still running as smoothly as it did on day one. It's a testament to the build quality and engineering that went into this chip. Value: Initially, the price point seemed a bit steep, but given the longevity and unwavering performance, it has proven to be a worthwhile investment. Final Thoughts: The Intel Core i7-11700K has been a crucial part of my setup, and I have no regrets about this purchase. It's a product that has stood the test of time, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance, reliable CPU.

The chip shortage that we are going through is unfortunate because it is increasing the prices of all computer components, but even with the increased cost of this chip over MSRP, I think this CPU is worth it. I am upgrading from an i7 7700k which ran very hot, and the performance increase as well as temperature decrease that I have noticed with this new chip is astounding. One thing I have been wanting to get into was PS3 emulation with RPCS3, and the 7700k that I had in my computer really struggled with emulation giving low framerates and high temperatures. This could have possibly been because of my damaged motherboard, but I have noticed with this new CPU that all the games I want to play have much higher FPS, and they compile much quicker. In addition, all programs on my computer, in addition to the OS itself are running much quicker which I am very happy about. As an added benefit, the 7700k was just a little bit too old to support Windows 11, but the new 11700k does support Windows 11, and I was able to install it on launch day.

I wanted to give the 11th gen a try and not break the bank. I decided to go with an 11700k and MSI Z590-A Pro. I already have a 5800x coupled with an x570 Tomahawk that's running fine (except for the dreaded USB ports issue). Out of the box, yes, the 5800x runs faster but a few tweaks in the MSI BIOS and I'm currently running 5ghz all core having passed CB15,CB20,CB23, Aida, RealBench and Prime95 Small FFT. Anyone who tells you the chip doesn't run hot hasn't run a meaningful stress test or has their chip at stock (or close to it). Once tweaked, it is beating my 5800x even with PBO2 on and curve optimizations. I can manually overclock my 5800x using Ryzen Master or BIOS to somewhat take the lead again but what it shows is the 11th gen chips can compete and if you're an Intel fan they are viable CPUs. The only downside is I was routinely pulling 290w+ but hitting 86c tops even running CB23 with an EVGA 360 AIO so while it pulls a lot it CAN run sub 90 even under heavy loads, all core at 5ghz. Bonus for gaming is it has better 1% and .1% lows which for higher resolutions can be equally important as the highs. Solid chip if you have the PSU and cooling to tame it at a price less than the 5800x

Paired with a MSI Z590-A PRO board and I was able to easily quickly achieve a 5.0Ghz all core overclock on 240mm AIO Cooling . It's rock solid stable with XMP profile on the RAM . This thing absolutely crushes my previous i7-6700k CPU and I noticed a big difference in FPS. Overall, 10/10, strongly recommend. It's a good out-of-the-box processor, and it's fantastic for overclocking, at a price point.

It’s fast and powerful—it runs pretty warm without semi-aggressive cooling, though (that’s par for the course for the 11th gen cores, especially the i7). I put a water cooler on it and under maximum load it never stutters or exceeds 60C. Definitely a nice little chip.

Worked fine, preformance is what i expected, did not come with cooler, and it immediately thermal throttled on a stock cooler. REC buying a good air cooler or a small aio. Overclocks well enough.
