I bought is processor and put it on a z490 gaming edge WiFi by MSI. It works great. I get a temp of 32-36 Celsius idling at about 5 MHz. I also ran a Cinebench test and didn’t go over 72 Celsius. I am using the MSI Coreliquid 360R AIO for cooling. I think if you are going to heavily use this processor or over clock it needs a 240 or 360 water cooler. I would not recommend air cooling. I have seen complaints of cooling issues, but I have had no issues keeping mine cool.

Absolute screamer. This is an enthusiast class chip, it runs hot, fast, and needs someone who knows how to handle, and appreciate it. Water cooling recommended if planning on overclocking. This will be paired with a 3090 RTX I was able to get through a Best Buy drop for one of the most powerful work/play systems possible today.

Love it along with my new Z480 Aorus Master mobo. Haven't OC'd it yet but looks very promising on the silicon front. See picture of my first run of Cinebench R20 at stock speeds.

Got a good deal on the cpu but after receiving and installing I would’ve paid full price it’s a really good cpu

Sufficient for 1440p and 240fps if it is not capped by your gpu

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Even better deal when it’s on sale.

This thing is a beast! Matched it with a RTX 3080. Nearly 200 FPS in Assetto Corsa on Samsung Odyssey G9 49”

Really fast and no issue - I have not tried to over clock and I doubt I will

Not a review of the product, but rather BestBuy handling of the item. Arrived in horrible condition. Packaging was smashed, looks like somebody sat on it. Even the plastic clamshell case holding the cpu was bent and wasn’t even closed so the cpu was just sliding around. No fault on FedEx, the cardboard box was in pristine condition, so this damage happened at the warehouse before it was even packaged.

Wow. I've never had a flagship processor before and I'm glad this was my first. What a powerhouse of a CPU! I have it pushed to 5.3ghz in gaming and it hasn't slowed down a bit. I can't believe how smooth everything is! Battlefields IV and V, Cyberpunk, Control, Crysis 2 (I haven't gotten past the C's) all play beautifully. It's idling at 31 degrees, gets pretty hot when it really gets going (76 is the max I've gotten it, during Cyberpunk as it were). It seems more stable overclocked! My Asus motherboard is handling it perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I didn't wait for Gen 11! There's no way it could be better than this. I got it on sale and it is worth every penny.

I was able to snag one of these when they came back into stock and it is the best gaming CPU on the market today bar none. I am overclocking this to 5.3GHz all cores with amazing results. Do not let the "intel runs to hot" stuff scare you away. On stock clock speed my idle temps are 28C on a Corsair H150i XT Pro AIO w/ a custom fan curve set. And AVG about 45C-50C while gaming. When overclocked to 5.3GHz i get idle temps of 34C and 60C-62C while gaming. Running this CPU on a higher end motherboard (MSI MEG Z490 ACE). If you plan to overclock, you will want a higher end board with better VRAM such as the MEG Z490 ACE. It's has a premium price but it delivers premium performance!

No problems after about 4 years of use, primarily for gaming at 1440p with a 3080.

Great processor. Using my computer to even write this review. Packaging is neat. Nice design. No bent pins. Worked correctly first time I booted up. The integrated graphics on this processor were extremely necessary as I could not find a high-end graphics card anywhere for a reasonable price. Best Buy had a price better than Newegg and Amazon. They got the cpu to me quickly. I would toss out specs but I look at the way the cpu works as a complete system. I can run minecraft, fortnight to play with the little ones. It can handle my graphics for my computer programs. Charts and graphs update quickly with downloaded data feeds. I have an ASRock Z590 LGA 1200 motherboard. I use this with 128GB of RAM (4 x 32GB slots). A slightly older Sata drive (I have an M2 but I've been too busy to install it) and the older Sata drive is lightening fast as it is. My PC takes less than a minute to boot up. I added a Fractal design liquid cooler and fan package. RGB (red green blue) LEDs off of the motherboard makes everything light up and impresses my kids. The process recognizes fully in the motherboard bios. I considered the AMD Ryzen but it wasn't available and Intel's processors have always lasted me for years. My last custom built gaming PC lasted 17 years with a few upgrades to the DRAM, GDDR RAM, and changes from platter harddrives to the solid state sata's. I had an Intel quad-core I7 3.4GHz cpu in that machine it is still running. Just saying, Intel makes a great product and the miniscule speed differences between AMD and Intel now makes sense to get the best price/performance ratio you can.

The best processor in the market for gaming and performs great for normal work tasks. Had a fun time Overclocking it and got some pretty nice results. It does produce a lot of heat so I went with the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler — White plus an 2 additional intake 120mm fans and 1 120mm exhaust fan for a total of 6 fans plus the Liquid CPU cooler. The processor is the fastest processor stock in the market for gaming and that's not even with Overclocking. Love Intel and Ryzen just wasn't for me.

This one was really hard for me I love this CPU but my issue is you can get a number of other options for less money and the performance hit you take is almost nothing. You may be asking yourself what do I mean well I put this i9 up against an i5 10th gen and the performance between the two is so little of a gap you can laugh and throw a stick at it but the hit to your wallet is HUGE! I would recommend anyone looking at this one considers looking up benchmarks and don't just buy this because more is always better. Most people will not even noticed the change in speed. The one place this does shine is when you do some hard overclocking. I can still recommend this as im currently stable overclocking this to 6.2Ghz.
