I love this software. Very easy to use and quick to setup. I have a laser printer that uses a MICR toner cartridge so that I can have multiple companies and personal checking accounts or switch banks and never lose a single check. The only complaint that I have is that I like to print my checks on blank voucher style stock (middle position) and Quickbooks only allows a voucher style check with the top position. This required me to purchase a third party software -PrintBoss - which was $150 and works perfectly. Really ?? How much would it take to give you some flexibility on your check positioning ? All of the third party check programs use a virtual printer for the software so it adds a few steps to printing the check. Seems a bit silly that QB doesn't modify its software. Other than that - It's the best accounting software for the price.

QuickBooks continues to be a great product for those of us who need to keep books but aren't accountants. It works great for the needs of my small business. I have seen the online version and still prefer the control and ease of the desktop version of QuickBooks

Lots of functionality and easy to use. The file system is a bit cumbersome, and requires some knowledge of how to manage the different company ledgers. I upgraded from a much older version (2009) and the files were not compatible initially. I had to convert my original file to an intermediate version (2012) before converting to the most up-to-date version.

I recently opened my own law practice with another attorney and one of the first items we knew we needed to purchase was Quickbooks. The learning curve was a little steep at first; however, once you have it installed and get used to the program, it is an unbelievably useful tool. Plus, because of the popularity of this program, there are many useful resources available on the internet to help you get started. We now utilize Quickbooks on a daily basis, and it has helped us to keep track of both our general and trust accounting.

Have used past versions of QBs, each refining the former. Am adjusting to "new" ways, small changes, of entering the same information. Smooth changeover once Best Buy's Geek Squad was able to import information from my old 2008 QBs for this business application. QBs organization integrates income, expenses, & banking in a logical manner for this no-business-accounting background business owner.

I have used Quickbooks for 11 years and it has truly been a love hate relationship. I feel there is a pretty steep learning curve if your just starting out. However with that said, there is a lot of info and help out there-along with classes-if you want to understand it inside and out. I got a price match on this that saved me 100$-and was upgrading a previous version. My old computer crashed-lost my hard drive and backup at the same time. Had the hard drive rebuilt-and info recovered. With all that said-I still couldn't get everything from my old quick books over to the new version without their help. They did it over the phone but it still took 4 1/2 hours. This was more about the way my info was put in files-and not their fault. Before, I just put in the new disk and it would switch it over automatically. I now subscribe to their cloud service and use it to back up everything. I like the way they have changed the layout, it's a lot easier to read. I should probably mention that I loathe paperwork-and would rather never have to deal with it-however this has always performed fine for me. There has been some issues from time to time-but nothing that couldn't be resolved. I do NOT have it linked with my banking...and probably never will, as I have learned that keeping things like that separate adds security.

As with any new software, it takes some getting used to, but I have been more than pleased with my new QuickBooks!

This is the easiest software around! I tried using another program and hated it so went back to this.

This is my first time purchasing QuickBooks and I love the ease of use for small business bookkeeping. I have used Peachtree/Sage 50 software for years so was skeptical when changing but I love the reports available and the all around ease of use.

This software has a little bit of a learning curve but after a little bit of research and tinkering around in the software it has become a great tool for my business. The software has a lot of capabilities for the price that you pay.
