SCALPTURE's second album InchEisenzeitInch (iron age) continues the path of the debut, but already shows that the band is not willing to accept stagnation - the music remains kick ass death metal, but crafted with more details in terms of melodies and crushing heaviness. When SCALPTURE came into being in the German city of Bielefeld in 2009, founding guitarist Felix Marbach already had a clear vision The musical direction was to be death metal without any compromise regarding it's roots and values, but at the same time the band aimed to evolve into a singular musical entity with a unique style very much their own right from the start. It is hardly surprising that all SCALPTURE's album titles refer to the topic of 'war' that the band has decided to adopt as their prime lyrical theme. Staying away from glorifying stereotypes, their texts are built on detailed historical research and portray the horrors that the abyss of war has caused in some of the darkest hours of humankind. Although the Germans have chosen war as their main subject, SCALPTURE embrace modern values such as tolerance, peace, and reason. Album Tracks 1. The Storm 2. ... Ebbs Into Stalemate 3. Und Ehre Ist's 4. Fire Flies Through Emtpy Skies 5. Hinterlandsymphonie 6. Eisenzeit 7. Hell Is a Field in France 8. Yperite 9. Of Daredevils and Doughboys 10. All Quiet on the Western Front

With their fourth studio album InchHulders RitualInch ('Ritual of the Huldra'), Slagmaur break the chains of repetition and nostalgia by rewriting the rules of black metal. This does not mean abandoning the foundations of the genre, which is already indicated by working with the 'inventor' of the 'Norwegian black metal sound', THORNS mastermind Snorre W. Ruch, as an additional producer. The band's founder, General Gribbsphiiser, rather unafraid and with reckless abandon mutates and warps the traditional formula through a host of subtle innovations and tweaks of the classic sound. Although InchHulders RitualInch continues, refines, and widens the daring stylistic balance of Slagmaur's previous works, it adds an extra dimension of sardonic mania to it's collection of sharp and vicious sonic instruments. Choice guest-contributions that include TAAKE vocalist Hoest, DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Silenoz, and MISTHYRMING frontman D.G., who cover three decades of Nordic black metal make a case in point. Slagmaur hail from Brekstad on the Fosen peninsula in the Trondelag region and are a part of the Trondheim-based 'Nidrosian black metal movement'. Although Gribbsphiiser started the band as a solo project, he already recruited fellow musicians during the recording of his first demo, InchSvinInch (2006). Slagmaur's black avant-garde debut album, InchSkrekk Lich KunstlerInch (2007), marked the premier instalment in the still-unfolding series, InchThe Art of OldermanInch. The following studio albums InchVon Rov ShelterInch (2009) and InchThill Smitts TerrorInch (2017) continued this story arc. InchHulders RitualInch is for those, who are seeking musical darkness, magic, and the relentless breaking of limitations from black metal. Slagmaur push forward among the select few that are leading the way to the future of the genre. Album Tracks 1. Ritual Dogs 2. Wildkatze 3. Hulderg

Here comes the German death metal tank again, crushing and smashing, bulldozing all resistance into oblivion and breaking through the lines. SCALPTURE deliver their fourth album InchLandkriegInch, which means 'land warfare' in German, with deadly precision and an ambitious mission statement to conquer the world. This time, it is not just one of the usual war themes, but each song on InchLandkriegInch revolves around the 30 Year War that devastated the German lands from 1618 until 1648. On InchLandkriegInch, SCALPTURE stay true to their deadly roots, but their sound has been refined by endless hours on the road, playing more shows, and many days and nights well spent in the rehearsing space and at Hellforge Studio. The new songs are brutal, hard-hitting, and 100% death metal, but they also leave room for variety and cool twists. Although the Germans have chosen war as their main subject, SCALPTURE embrace modern values such as tolerance, peace, and reason. SCALPTURE unleash a new InchLandkriegInch and that leaves the world with only two choices run for cover or bang that death metal head hard! Album Tracks 1. The Fall 2. Into Catastrophe 3. Til Jeret U
