Ironmaster - Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Since the 1980s, Cleveland has been a fertile breeding ground for outstanding heavy metal. Ohio-based multi-instrumentalist Andrew Della Caga proudly continues that tradition. Over the years, he has been involved in more than half a dozen bands, including Brimstone Coven and Icarus Witch. His main creative outlet, however, has always been Ironflame, a project in which he writes the music and lyrics, performs nearly all the instruments, and handles the vocals himself. Formed in 2016, Ironflame has released five critically acclaimed full-length albums and built a loyal following along the way. The latest chapter in Ironflame's story, Worlds to Conquer, is another powerful statement from one of modern heavy metal's most dedicated and prolific underground artists.

2023 from this Danish metal band founded by former Autumn Leaves guitarist Flemming C. Lund. Distortions From Cosmogony is the long-awaited follow-up to 2015's Cult of None. The album marks the first of the band featuring Kim Song Sternkopf [MØL] on vocals and Bastian Thusgaard [Soilwork] on drums. The album revolves around eternal existential struggle, between autonomy and submission.

Ever wondered what it feels like to be smacked in the face by music? Ironmaster's new album InchWeapons Of Spiritual CarnageInch will provide you with just that experience. The Swedish group brings you an album that is both heavy and melodic. It presents the listener with sonic gut punches and anvil breaking drum hits with carefully placed slower (and at times, almost prog like) melodies, as if just to give you a welcome breather from the high velocity experience of the album. Lyrics written by Edvin Skårud dealing with death, cruelty and the dark side of life make for a perfect accommodation to the atmosphere the album brings. InchWeapons Of Spiritual CarnageInch is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut InchThy Ancient FireInch. It brings out the best of black, death and thrash metal performed with top tier musicianship supported by high quality production courtesy of the bands own Jonas Kjellgren. The album has a strong focus on the album and in conjunction with the high-quality material, musicianship and production, makes listening to the album front to back an enjoyable experience.
