Island of Lost Girls (aka Three Golden Serpents) - DVD

Kate reunites with an old friend when her boyfriend spends too much time working during their vacation. As she rediscovers her fun side, she reevaluates what she wants from life and love.

When a riptide sweeps three young sisters away, they wash up on an island where they must escape a sea cave filled with crashing waves, discover abandoned artifacts from the island's previous residents, and encounter hundreds of sea lions and giant elephant seals. As they make their way to a distant lighthouse, they learn the importance of never giving up and sticking together along the way.

Washed-up and washed-out tennis player Tom (Sam Riley) led a desultory and dissolute existence as house pro for a pricey Fuerteventura resort. His ennui would fade, though, as attractive guest Anne (Stacy Martin) sought instruction for her young son. Tom had less use, however, for her spouse Dave (Jack Farthing)... and after Dave couldn't be found after the two spent the night partying, Tom might not be able to return the investigative volleys. Bruna Cusí, Pep Ambròs co-star in this thriller from Germany. 121 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English; theatrical trailers.
