This is hands down one of the best coop games ever made. It is brimming with unique level design and ideas. The game feels fresh all the way through and never gets dry or boring. The bosses are fun and hilarious at times. I highly recommend this game for couples even though I dont like the game being about divorce.

It Takes Two is an absolute delight from start to finish. This game is a perfect blend of creativity, humor, and heartfelt storytelling, wrapped up in some of the most inventive co-op gameplay I’ve ever experienced. Every level introduces fresh, unexpected mechanics that keep things exciting and require true teamwork, making it impossible not to feel connected to your partner throughout the adventure. The art direction is stunning — the environments are imaginative and beautifully crafted, from whimsical gardens to epic, larger-than-life household objects. The characters, Cody and May, are relatable and well-written, with a narrative that balances humor and emotion as they navigate their strained relationship. The game’s story takes a surprisingly thoughtful approach to themes of love, partnership, and empathy. What really sets It Takes Two apart, though, is its gameplay. The puzzles and platforming challenges are consistently clever and fun, often requiring unique skills from each player that complement one another perfectly. Whether you’re flying through the air on a fidget spinner or battling squirrels in an over-the-top action sequence, there’s never a dull moment. On top of all that, the game is full of charming details and Easter eggs that make the world feel alive and rich. The voice acting is top-notch, and the soundtrack perfectly complements the mood of each scene. If you’re looking for a game that’s equal parts funny, touching, and genuinely engaging, It Takes Two is an absolute must-play. It’s a reminder of how special cooperative games can be, and it’s one of the most creative and well-executed games I’ve played in a long time. Highly recommend!

Very difficult but fun to play with your partner. It really takes two people to pass this game.

This is a phenomenal game, with so many different callbacks to other gaming styles. They really try to diversify different styles of gameplay throughout the story. Each different world that the characters exist in is very unique in design. There's some very heartwarming moments as well. You'll be sad when it's over.

Game is so much fun. Its strictly for 2 and its really fun to play with a significant other. The story has quite twists and turns but all the puzzles are fun

Very very fun and entertaining, I played it with my gf and we enjoyed it very much, the game has a beautiful story and fun gameplay ( keep in mind that this game you can only play with another person it is not a one player game, you can play either split screen with a friend, family member gf or bf, or you can also play with someone online ) great game overall the most fun I've had with a game in a while.

Love this game . Great to play with a girlfriend or boyfriend . It’s fun for the whole family to take part So far my kids and I are having a blast and lots of laughs . Great way to for some to spend time with your kids if they are gamers and you are not . It has to be a two player partnership . The story is cool and sad because it covers a real life situation that a lot of kids experience with their parents .

Fun co-op game that has its moments (good and bad). Most area environments are cool and have lots to do in them (ice skating), but cutscenes can be a bit of a drag and story isn't very good. Never really challenging as I've played lots of puzzle games, but it is a fun idea for the puzzles to require two people to work together. Game felt a little too long as we were just wanting to finish it near the end (but then it ended super suddenly). We had fun playing it for the most part but definitely won't play it again.

Played the game a lot with my sister. The story was funny and creative, the coop gameplay requires two players to think and work together. The graphics is really good and a huge step up from brother a tale of two sons and a way out. Secret achievements are fun to discover as well.

Very fun multiplayer experience. The cutscenes are very cinematic and immerse you in the story very nicely. It is an easy pick up and play type of game, fun for siblings/casual players. Plays great on Xbox One S.

Game play is interesting. Needs two players. I was playing with my wife and she doesn’t play any video game. This was her first and it was easy for her to pick up and start playing.

This game is great and works perfectly with our Xbox One. The graphics are phenomenal, and it doesn't lag at all. It requires two players to play together and solve problems together.

Awesome co op only game, amazing honestly, great story and solid gameplay. Make sure your gaming partner is decent at games though, was a little hard for my wife in a few parts (bee fight im looking at you sternly)

Absolutely blown away by this title. I bought it for me and my fiancé to add to the games we can play together, but didn’t expect this level of fun, story, and TRUE CO OP play! You must truly work as a team to solve the puzzles and progress in this game, as it literally cannot be played solo. That’s not even an option, actually. We have had many fun nights together on the couch playing this and in a small way brings us a little closer together. HIGHLY recommend this game, especially for couples.
