It works perfectly. I literally have it at my front door and the sensor never picks us up as we walk by. We both love it so far. Remember to buy 4 DD batteries or the power extension cord. How that cord isn't included is pretty sad.

In need of a new trash can, I found this one on Best Buy's website. It looked like a pretty neat concept, so I decided to purchase it. It arrived at my home much sooner than expected. It functions just about entirely as advertised. The odor filter really is helpful in curbing bad smells, and the touchless lid works as promised (4 D cell batteries not included, so other purchasers may want to spring for the adapter). My only complaint about this trash can is that, every time I walk past it, I cause the lid to open. There's really nowhere in my kitchen to place it that's out of the way of foot traffic. May be best for people whose trash can sits away from the "scene of the action" in the house.

This trash can is the most frustrating trash can I’ve ever used.i didn’t know a trash can could make me so mad. It’s almost impossible to get the trash bag out without the bag ripping. Can is just too narrow. I'm actually returning it this weekend.

This trash can doesn't come with a power cord, that it extra purchase. It takes batteries if you don't want to pay for the cord. I like the charcoal pack to keep the smell down. The only thing that I would like to see changed is the length of time the lid stays open. It will close even if you are still throwing things away.

Never thought I would love a trash can! I used to have to take a dinky can out from under the sink. It was small and I'd have to take it out to put larger items in it. Now I have so much room in my iTouchless Trash Can that I can go two days before I have to dump the trash. The automatic open feature is great and the can looks good in my kitchen. Have had no problems so far and am hopeful that this can will last awhile.

This is a great product. People say batteries don't last, Thats a lie use good batteries like duracell batteries. Now I will purchase one for the batroom now. Nothing bad about this product

This is my second Itouchless. Last on e was 12 years old. This one has the same features, and the CA staff were superb in answering my questions the first week. I love it

I really like the sleek look. The can looks small from appearance but when the top opens the inside capacity is large. It looks great in my kitchen.

Really easy to set up. Just put batteries, then attach filter. It has a lock which is great for my dogs.

I purchased this trash can because of it's size and it's touch less. I've had it for a couple of months and I really do love it. I would highly recommend buying the charger vs using batteries.

I love the size and shape but was a bit disappointed that it did not have a inside liner ( I guess I overlooked that part) an inside liner would be good instead of the clips on the side to hold the garbage bag. Also Itouchless should mean that you wave your hand over it and it open, not having to press. Overall good product.

I love the trash can, it can be very sensitive if you walk past it the lid may come up, but overall it is one of the best trash cans I have purchased vs your original plastic step on trash can. The deodorizer also does its job and keep unwanted scents and smells down, and I can easily store or place the trash can anywhere. I enjoy the fact of not having to touch it. I bought the charger for it as well, but the only thing is it has to stay plugged in and connected to the trash can in order for it to work so if you are not near an outlet then i would suggest buying the battery instead.

Honestly, after having it a few months I wish I would’ve gone with a step-on-open-lid thing instead. It’s not bad I just get a little sick of the timer closing the lid all the time. You can turn it off and then the lid stays open, but I don’t want to turn it on/off all the time. Also it’s a little small.
