Itzhak Perlman - Beethoven: Violin Concerto - VINYL LP

Tift Merritt - InchTime and PatienceInch [Clear/Yellow Splatter LP] Tift Merritt has long been a torchbearer in Americana. To mark the 20th anniversary of her Grammy-nominated Malbum Tambourine, Merritt returns with Time and Patience - a companion piece of intimate re-recordings and new songs from Merritt's Tambourine era. Several of the recordings strip her beloved classic songs back to their raw essence - recorded at home, just voice and acoustic instruments, 20 years after it first made her a critical darling. Others have never been heard before. Available on clear vinyl with yellow splatter in a gatefold jacket.

A starry but congenial trio, Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma and Daniel Barenboim interact with each other and with the Berlin Philharmonic in Beethoven's extraordinary Triple Concerto. Released for the first time on vinyl.

Vinyl LP pressing. In Perlman's words, Tchaikovsky Inchwears his heart on his sleeveInch and his violin concerto is a work of Inchunabashed RomanticismInch. While bringing sensitivity and substance to his interpretation, Perlman never slips into sentimentality, and he leads an exhilarating dance in the finale. This concerto more than any other has accompanied him throughout his career. Indeed, Perlman's often claimed that he could play it virtually in his sleep. It could even be seen as emblematic of his style, given both the prodigiously virtuosic demands it makes on the performer and it's charismatic warmth.
