Is fast and works as expected, very easy to install but, it gets really hot too soon. Fortunetely since it works outside just make sure to be on an A/C environment or use an external fan.

If you’re looking for a USB-C to HDMI adapter to pass through FreeSync or G-Sync for VRR, this won’t do that. I’ve tried 3 different adapters now and I am convinced it’s simply not possible. If that was your goal, hopefully I saved you a bit of trouble. That said, you can get an adapter with equal functions for less than half the price.

The j5create USB-C to HDMI JCA157 adapter works excellent with my Lenovo 900 laptop computer. I understand it will not work with ALL usb-c’s, however, j5create technical department Julian replied to my inquiry and determined it would work with my laptop. I was hesitant to purchase it as I had purchased another brand from another supplier and it did not work correctly. Thank you Julian at j5create for the excellent technical support.

Replaced several cheaper options I had previously tried to use to connect my MacBook Pro to a monitor, this one worked like a dream compared to the cheap things I bought off Amazon. It has continued working seamlessly for three months, which is 2 and a half months longer than the last one I had.

Plug and play, works great with my Apple Mac Studio!!! Seamless connection, no lag or disconnects. Have been using this for about 2 months, liked it so much that I bought a 2nd for another work station.

Inexpensive USB-C to HDMI adapter for a MACBook that couldn't be bothered to put an HDMI port in their expensive laptops! The good news is this works like a charm. Simple to use, compact, and very affordable. I'm not sure why they put the rainbow LEDs on the side, it's minor.

I bought this to connect my laptop to my TV because my laptop didn't have any hdmi ports, only usb-c/thunderbolt. It worked great for the first few months that I had it, and the RGB lights were a gimmicky, but still fun feature. Picture quality was great! Then one day, it just stopped working. I thought it might have been my hdmi cables but I tried it with various TVs and computer monitors and the adapter would only blink yellow. My laptop kept saying there was a problem with the usb connection. I also tested it by plugging into other laptops and desktops. Unfortunately, still no dice. Next time, I'll stick to a basic adapter because this one was too expensive to only last 4 months.

Super convinient to have a type C hdmi cable when you run oht of usb slots. Works perfectly well with no stutter or issues as well as beautiful diplay. Very worth the sale

It worked well up to 4K. Can not verify 8K because I don't have anything with 8K resolution.
