Q: Can this hearing aid connect by Bluetooth to such things as a Sony TV or other device?
A: Hello, JEM2 - Great question! They don't pair directly with a TV. However, you can purchase a TV streamer accessory that sends the TV audio directly to your hearing aids. After purchasing your Enhance Select 500 hearing aids, contact our support team at 1-800-854-2772 for assistance with this.
Q: Does these hearing aids have directional hearing capability?
A: Hello, Pete - Yes, our Jabra Enhance Select hearing aids use directional microphones along with noise reduction to help focus on and amplify speech sounds, even in noisy environments.
Q: will they work on a person with moder to severe hearing.
A: Hello- Jabra Enhance hearing aids are intended for those with self-perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. We have an online test on our website that you may take or you can submit a recent audiogram to see if you are a candidate!
Q: Is my ear analysis done in an app?
A: Hello, Vicm11 - The online hearing test is available on jabraenhance.com. You are also welcome to submit a recent audiogram for review. To learn more about our online hearing test and how it's used, please contact us at 1-800-854-2772
A: Our hearing aids are designed to be dust and water-resistant, with an IP6X dust rating and an IPX8 water rating, meaning they can withstand immersion beyond 1 meter. However, they are not fully waterproof. To keep them working at their best, we recommend avoiding excessive dust and water exposure, including swimming and showering. They are sweat-resistant and built for active lifestyles, but if exposed to moisture or sweat, we suggest using a hearing aid dryer or desiccant daily to keep them in tip-top shape.
Q: Is the hearing aid compatible with Pixel 8a
A: Hello, Penelope - Yes, the Google Pixel 8 is compatible with the Jabra Enhance Select 500 for use with the Enhance Select app, allowing you to receive remote adjustments and easily adjust your hearing aid settings. However, at this time compatibility with Bluetooth streaming (for music and calls) has not yet been confirmed, and a few other advanced features (Hands-Free Calling, TapControl and Bluetooth LE Audio/Auracast) are not supported by the Google Pixel 8. For further assistance, feel free to call 1-800-854-2772 or email [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).
A: Thank you for your question. We usually recommend considering upgrading our hearing aids every 4-5 years to get the benefits of more recent technological advancements. Everyone is different, but with good care and maintenance, Jabra Enhance Select hearing aids (including battery) life expectancy is 5 years.
A: Jabra Enhance Select hearing aids are intended for adults 18+ with mild to moderate hearing loss. If you have more severe hearing loss, we advise you to see an in-person professional who may be able to provide you with a better-suited solution.
