A: Our hearing aids are designed to be dust and water-resistant, with an IP6X dust rating and an IPX8 water rating, meaning they can withstand immersion beyond 1 meter. However, they are not fully waterproof. To keep them working at their best, we recommend avoiding excessive dust and water exposure, including swimming and showering. They are sweat-resistant and built for active lifestyles, but if exposed to moisture or sweat, we suggest using a hearing aid dryer or desiccant daily to keep them in tip-top shape.
Q: Is the hearing aid compatible with Pixel 8a
A: Hello, Penelope - Yes, the Google Pixel 8 is compatible with the Jabra Enhance Select 500 for use with the Enhance Select app, allowing you to receive remote adjustments and easily adjust your hearing aid settings. However, at this time compatibility with Bluetooth streaming (for music and calls) has not yet been confirmed, and a few other advanced features (Hands-Free Calling, TapControl and Bluetooth LE Audio/Auracast) are not supported by the Google Pixel 8.
