Jacques Perrin - L'histoire Vraie Du Titanic - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Horner uses all his expertise with seafaring and action-adventure themes in creating one of the most popular film scores in history. Starting with Celtic-inspired motifs that evoke both the nautical theme and the haunting realization that the Titanic went to the bottom on that cold April night in 1912. Horner's score runs the gamut from excitement and wonder (3. InchSouthamptonInch) to love and romance (4. InchRoseInch), confidence and exuberance (6. InchTake Her To Sea, Mr. Murdoch), and finally to disaster and doom (10. InchDeath Of TitanicInch) after the fatal collision between the late, great InchWhite StarInch liner and that iceberg. The entire album is instrumental except for InchMy Heart Will Go OnInch, sung by Celine Dion. Disc Two contains 15 songs by I Salonisti chamber music ensemble, the Titanic's ship band. The tag that ignited the Dutch post-punk scene!Homogeneity be damned, these early Plurex tracks are a head-turning snapshot of what was happening in the late '70s Netherlands underground! Includes an interview with Plurex founders and all of the singles from 1978-'80!Some of the bands would never another record, but for the tag and many of the artists there was yet more history to be made, not least of which was Minny Pops' ascendance to seminal status, and Plurex's emergence at the center of the envelope-pushing Dutch music scene that came to be known as Ultra. InchIt's extreme, that's what that word stands for,Inch explains van Middendorp of the movement, InchIt stands for something that's clearly outspoken, and that's what we tried to do.Inch From the confrontational clang of their early punk releases to the electronic art attacks that arrived soon after, Plurex was about saying something new, loudly enough for all to hear. When those records were made,Inch says van Middendorp, InchI never expected that we would have a conversation about them 40 years later if not longer. At the time nobody was even thinking for one minute that this might happen... That so many years down the line there's still people out there that will discover this music. And the great thing [about The Plurex Story] is that it's also on a that I'm a big fan of, because who gives a S**t about the stream? It's nice to have a physical album in your hands.Inch Album Tracks 1. Mollesters - Plastic 2. Ze Popes - Sexy Pyjamas 3. Tits - Daddy Is My Pusher 4. Minny Pops - Footsteps 5.
