James Rivers' InchOléInch is a dynamic exploration of Latin-infused jazz. With it's tight rhythm section, rich horn arrangements, and Rivers' virtuosic saxophone playing, the album seamlessly blends the sounds of traditional Latin music with the improvisational spirit of jazz. From the lively opener InchOlé Pt. IInch to the slow and funky InchSmokey the Funky Soprano,Inch each track highlights Rivers' remarkable musicianship and his ability to create an interplay between himself and his bandmates.
