James Fortune & FIYA - Dear Future Me - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

James Fortune, along with his vocal ensemble, Fiya, returns with IDENTITY. IDENTITY focuses on teaching believers to know who we are in Christ, and to know what we are entitled to, simply as a result of our holy ancestry. As heirs to the throne of God, believers are inherently triumphant, and the sooner we realize this, the sooner we can begin walking in complete and total victory. Enter Fortunes lesson in IDENTITY. Guest appearances by Monica, LeAndria Johnson, Kim Burrell and Fred Hammond.

As one of Gospel music's most poignant songwriters and producers, James Fortune has skillfully captivated the hearts and ears of many who hang on, and hold on to his every word. The James Fortune Collection connects some of James Fortune & FIYA's most notable hits from his fourteen album catalog. This sequence of tracks addresses our fears and disappointments of the past, but embraces faith to overcome the present and hope to remain determined to possess the future.

This third in James Ehnes and Andrew Armstrong's complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas has been eagerly awaited. The two previous recordings received outstanding reviews, with Gramophone praising that, Inchsome discs, you can just tell that everything's going to go like a dream.Inch On this recording, the popular 'Spring' sonata is framed by the strange and beguiling Sonata No.4, and the good natured Sonata No.8. An early Rondo and a set of German Dances complete the generous program.
